I need to know if anyone else is having this issue:
So I'm using the Youtube app on my phone, not anything special just the standard Youtube app, and I went to listen to a music video by one of my favorite bands (Lights Go Down by IDKHowButTheyFoundMe) and I got an error message that said 'Something went wrong' and there was a retry button. So I hit it and it didn't work I just got a split second of audio before the error message came back. I kept hitting the button until the video came through and the video played.
This happened again on another video so I closed completely out of the app and restarted my phone. I tried to watch the new film theory video on The Amazing Digital Circus, it gave me the error message no less than a dozen times before the video finally worked. Same thing happened on today's Oz's Vault "Best Of" video, no less than a dozen 'something went wrong' errors before the video played like nothing was wrong.
Restarting the phone obviously didn't work. Is anyone else having this issue with the YouTube app? Or YouTube in general?
I don't know if it has anything to do with the issue I'm having but I did watch a few videos yesterday that were marked as 'for kids' (one or two of the Adrenaline Dubs IDW comics are marked for kids) and these videos I'm trying to watch are not for kids. Maybe this is YouTube thinking I'm a minor (I'm absolutely not) and trying to dissuade me from watching these kinds of videos?? Maybe it's an internet connectivity issue? My dad said some of his TV channels aren't coming in and are supplied through the internet somehow, but the router seems fine, so maybe it's something to do with our internet??
Please, for once in my life I'd really like some feedback on an issue. If anyone knows what is up with Youtube please let me know.
