Narciso- he works as a tailor in the alleyway. Literally he has a small store there where nobody goes…but one day Garcia did and now he’s been clinging onto the guy

I’ve decided he’s gonna be an invisible man. He has no identity, nobody knows him other than Garcia, he doesn’t even know himself.

He hates that he was born invisible because he’ll never be able to see a face when he looks in the mirror. Just a blank slate.

Garcia- he sells cars! Everyone in town knows him for having these really good cars. Like he has Lamborghinis. He got his suit stained once with some motor oil and Evermore washed it for him.

He works day in and day out constantly; never taking a break and not really caring about laughter. he just wants money.

Garcia doesn’t actually care that the tailor doesn’t have a face or…well a body in general. The thing he likes about him is his mannerisms; Narciso is entertaining.

If you haven’t heard, today PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome has been renamed to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome. This change reflects that this is not a reproductive “problem” but a whole body disease.

Edit: this syndrome affects women, nonbinary folks and trans men. Please excuse the language in the informatic.

It bothers me so much that the healthcare system relies so much on the patient's ability to advocate for themselves, organize their history, and be so persistent against every medical “professional” who says there’s nothing wrong/they can do. But so many struggle with fatigue, brain fog, and face such ingrained systemic barriers, that the people who need and deserve help and support can’t access it.

I saw something recently that resonated with me: “Access shouldn't depend on who has the energy to fight for it.” And I’ve never agreed with anything more.

I know intersex people are still getting excluded in a lot of LGBTQIA+ spaces (let alone wider society) and I think it's crucial to show this group is included in the statement that we all deserve equal rights.

Convenience isn't bad because of some inherent value in toil or it rots your soul. Convenience is bad because it often comes at the cost of an exploited underclass. I don't care if someone wants to taxi their meal to their house instead of making it themselves or even driving to the restaurant themselves. I care that meal delivery apps underpay their workers (they don't even consider them their workers), provide no workplace protections, and prey on their desperation.

The desire for convenience is a morally neutral thing (no matter how many capitalists want their workers to see unproductivity or aversion to the "grind" as a moral failing). Companies that sell you only convenience by making it worse for yourself and for others are not.
