I'm all outta sorts this week (and have been for a while) but I have some shop time coming up this weekend so I took a few minutes at lunch to draw up some blueprints (on blue construction paper of course) for a bandsaw log mill. Since this jig is modeled after something I saw on YouTube, this post will also count as an early#FF #followfriday for maybe one of our lesser known awesome Woodworkers in the #igwoodworkingcommunity. Nathan from @theundergroundshop makes some awesome stuff, posts cool pictures and even has build videos on YouTube, not to mention shares my affinity for super inventive jigs. Go check him out. His latest build is an actual airplane propellor. Pretty incredible stuff! Follow along with my jig build this weekend. Assuming I can finish it, I've got a bunch of logs to resaw and lumberize for charcuterie boards.
