I dont typically like post-run advice videos but this one was too good to ignore. It’s about showing your hand to early. And how to quit a job along with How to fire people. I would personally take what he said case by case. Ive read horror stories of a bad boss firing you just after you give your resignation

On the how to fire people portion: I have only had to fire one person in my life and that was my Barber. He was charging too much and was high everytime I came in. When I was recommended someone better I immediatley left. There was no intervention because he would not have cared by this time. He had become rude to customers in my last few months with him.

Quitting Your Job: I have only ever quit one job so I cant comment from experience. I have read alot of profesional letters on Linkedin that give some help though. I can send links but I think John Sonmez’s video gets to the point.

Real Shit!!!!

I continually let my AP Physics 2/Robotics Coach limit me. I let him define my limit he’s a fucking Highschool teacher. I let my Mom define my limit and look where she put us. Let no one define your limit.

Refer back to my post of this guy on raising your set point. You let nobody people tell you what you can do and look where you end up. Ive noticed all in my 18 years so far. People become followers and listeners to nonsense and get stuck

This is the truest thing ever. I realized this the moment I ditched my friend group I had Freshman through Sopmore year. All they did was play Clash of Clans, cheat on assignments, and put me down. When I switched to my new group those guys had their head on straight. they got me into robotics, others into MUN, chemistry club and the like. I became a better person. I got a way to express my different interests it was amazing. Im glad I quit hanging with them my life had improved. My life suck now but I honestly couldnt imagine how bad it would be if I didnt have a good escape.

“Give me what you want but don’t give me pity”

I agree pity is the worst thing to receive. Ive recently ran into a streak of it. No one wants to help me find work so I dont go back to soul crushing fastfood they give me trinkets and knickknacks. Their old furniture, dishes, and just shit we dont need. I addressed this thing the day of the fire in my blog post that I felt reborn. This needs to stop. Stop pitying me Im fine. A man I looked up to pitied me yesterday and it hurt. Like dont give me anything other than the essentials. Thats all I need and I can build from there.

The second part addresses getting in with power players, and influencers. I could’ve have told anyone that. Martin Shkreli even addresses that in his series of investing videos im covering.
