Series: Part 1 of The Shieldmaiden Saga
Summary: Steph Taylor's life is looking good- the force-field project she's working on has been greenlit for production, her best friend Eddie Thawne is transferring from Keystone, and the new particle accelerator, even if it is from a rival lab, is being switched on in a few weeks. Then the accelerator explodes, and her using the device to save some of her colleagues turns out to have consequences a couple of months later when force field powers manifest - and she's not the only one affected. With STAR Labs apparently getting off scot-free for the damage they caused - or rather, one Harrison Wells getting off essentially scot-free - there's a lot of anger, especially from the new friends they make along the way, and Steph knows that there's a lot of work to do to help the city.
Moodboard: Bringing Rogues to a family cookout is a time-honored West-Allen tradition. Figuring out halfway through that the fake date isn’t so fake, likewise

Fandom: The Flash (TV 2014) Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Barry Allen/Mark Mardon, Mark Mardon & Joss Jackam, Barry Allen & Joss Jackam Characters: Barry Allen, Mark Mardon, Joslyn Jackam, Joe West, Clyde Mardon, Eddie Thawne, Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow, Eobard Thawne | Harrison Wells, David Singh Additional Tags: Playing around with the ages of the Mardon family, What if Mark didn't go into a life of crime, Mark raises Joss, Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence, pilot AU, Joss is adorable, Joss is smart and proud of it, Mark is a good dad, Clyde still went into crime, mentions of Patty Spivot, Minor Eddie Thawne/Iris West Series: Part 1 of Fair Weather Summary:
Nine months ago, Mark gets the news his brother died in a shootout with the cops that ended with one dead detective (shot by Clyde), one crashed plain (struck by lightning with Clyde inside), and Clyde dead in the crash. No body found and Mark honestly didn't know if he'd rather hope his brother is somehow still alive or not. But he buried an empty casket, managed to pull a small gathering together to mourn his brother's death, and then moved on with his life. Clyde hadn't been a part of Mark's life in years so... truth was, not much changed with Clyde dead beyond Mark not having to wonder when the cops were going to show up to accuse him of sheltering his criminal brother for the umpteenth time.
Like he'd ever risk Joss' safety that way.
However, in order not to be bothered about the latest trouble his brother had caused, first Clyde would have to actually be dead. And, of course, he's not.
I know there’d be a severe clash of personalities, but has anyone considered the potential of a Rogues’ kids AU/team up with Axel Walker, Lita Rory, and Joss Jackam?
“Looks like you found your own Leonard Snart.”
Crisis on Infinite Earths Pts. 4-5
Joss Jackam wakes up in Nora West-Allen's bed, goes about her day like normal, and then gets killed by Cicada. And repeat.
There's two things that stay consistent in the time loop. The first is, at the end, she gets murdered.
The other thing is that she can't stay away from Nora West-Allen, no matter how hard she tries.
