Love it when highly compatible charicters inhabit the same wider universe but just never interact so fanfiction must step in. Yeah, give me Shallan Davar and Wayne solving Scoobe Doo mysteries. Give me John Constantine and Lobo on a pub crawl. Please, for the love of God, Give me Roland Deschain and Holly Gibney antiqueing in a quaint little town in New England only to slowly realise it's the shop from needful things and be quietly annoyed that they have to kill another extra-dimentional horror of todash darkness. Fuck yeah.

...is audio fanart I make for my Stephen King Patreon. It’s a newbie-friendly audio quest where I narrate and musically score the genre-spanning series' greatest hits in nonchronological, song-length bites. Every one begins with a mini-cover of a relevant song (Crazy Train for “Blaine & Wastes,” La Vie en Rose for “Jake & Rose,” Separate Ways/Worlds Apart for “Eddie & Sky Carriage,” etc) and then either an original composition for the duration, or reworked covers of existing songs (one is a montage of Sabbath riffs and I love it—but I love them all, to death).

(my fanart for Stephen Kings’s book “the Dark Tower”)

Roland Deschain of Gilead. He is the Gunslinger and final descendant of Arthur Eld. A wayfarer, who follow the path of Beam at the behest of KA and the call of the Dark Tower. Roland — as I see him 🖤

At first, I doubted the need to create the fanart with Roland. Because many people have already drawing him, and I’m unlikely to be able to draw something original. But when I went with him all the way from the desert to the Dark Tower, I was imbued to this character with all my heart 💔 And I realized, that I just NEED to draw him! And this fanart has to be perfect!

Perhaps, this is my longest and most difficult fanart for "Dark Tower" book (many are probably already desperate to wait for it). But I did it! 😤 And I am very happy with it!
