I mostly like Lisa/Kaeya in the context of Lisa/Jean/Kaeya, but I was lying in bed tonight imagining them on some kind of mission together undercover as (active) Akademiya scholar and Eremite bodyguard, and I think my huge bodyguard thing and my huge fake-dating thing just fused instantly because now Things Just Keep Happening (Kaeya having to push Lisa into a wall to save her from a mechanism, Lisa flirting with him to protect him from the attentions of an obnoxious local, etc.) and they are both getting. uh. kind of pent up about it. Kaeya did not know he was into older women and Lisa did not know she was into men of any age, but when she complains about her sore feet one day a traveling companion makes a joke about him rubbing her feet ("is the senior researcher fucking her bodyguard?" has been the top gossip since the dart-trap incident in the last ruin) and they both find that a little too tempting. Somehow Kaeya ends up on his knees actually doing it that evening and they are both enjoying this in ways they, like, knew about themselves already, but had not expected in this context

#three days later they arrive at some fancy hotel with baths #and a junior scholar walks into the wrong one #and walks out with electrical burns. frostbite. and a very important update re: the gossip #money changes hands. not a lot because they're broke scholars but still #lisa isn't lazy she's just efficient #kaeya is a bundle of knives behind a smile #goddamn i need to make them a tag #kaelisa #for now i guess
