how the boys in Naruto would react if their son/daughter were scared

Kakashi🍃
Kakashi’s ninken came sprinting toward him, and the one named Bull made him raise an eyebrow as he sat reading on the couch beside you, his fingers gently threading through your hair.
“Your daughter yelled at me when I went to check on her at the shinobi school!”
Kakashi knew his little girl well enough to understand her stubbornness. She fiercely valued her privacy, even though he had already explained the visits were solely for her safety.
Right on cue, the daughter in question opened the front door, but the moment she spotted Pakkun, she froze behind it.
Your voice was the first to break the tension as you rose from the couch and stepped softly toward her.
“Sweetheart, is everything alright?”
“No! Why is that dog inside the house?”
She slammed the door shut with such force that both you and Kakashi widened your eyes. Kakashi let out a sigh and stood, murmuring an “I’ll handle it” before heading outside.
He leaned against the doorframe, watching as his daughter played absentmindedly with the flowers in the courtyard, admiring their shape and color.
“Sweetheart, tell your father. What’s the real issue?”
It was difficult for Kakashi not to laugh behind the mask. Her pouty, exasperated expression reminded him so much of you.
“I don’t like him, okay? He just follows me around and never even plays with me! What does he want from me?”
Was his little girl… perhaps afraid?
“Should I ask him to play with you more?”
Noticing the flicker of curiosity in her eyes, Kakashi called Bull’s name. The dog stepped out into the courtyard at a calm pace. His daughter looked at him, then at the dog until her body language relaxing when she realized her father wasn’t interfering. That meant it was safe.
She reached out and gave Bull a hesitant pat on the head. When the dog wagged his tail, her face lit up in a brilliant smile.
And Kakashi, despite himself, smiled back—hidden under the mask, but present all the same.
Itachi🍃
Itachi stopped midway through the hallway, just as his son collided into him and immediately hid behind his leg.
“Dad, something’s in the house! Please save me!”
He looked down at his tearful son, the small face pressed into him in desperation or protection. A familiar expression, one he hadn’t seen in years.
“What happened?”
His son pointed dramatically at the floor, gesturing toward the flickering shadows of tree branches swaying outside, their reflections cast through the windows onto the floor. Itachi’s eyes softened, amused and knowing he’d have to share this moment with you later.
Before lifting him into his arms, Itachi sighed quietly, then carried the boy to the window, pointing toward the origin of the shadows.
“See that, my son? That’s the reflection of the tree your mother and I planted a few years ago, before you were born.”
But his son wasn’t so easily convinced. He had inherited that sharp, calculating mind.
“Then what is it doing inside our house? There’s no tree in here!”
Turning him slightly, Itachi shifted to block the moonlight outside and revealed the shadow they had both cast, now joined on the floor.
“Everything has a shadow, son. A reflection… and sometimes, a self-reflection.”
The boy clung to his father’s neck, eyes now heavy with sleep as Itachi carried him toward the bedroom
“Self-reflection?”
Seeing him drift into slumber, Itachi murmured softly.
“We’ll talk about that when you’re older, little one.”
Shikamaru🍃
Turning off the lights around the house to end the day, Shikamaru was taken aback when his son started raising his voice as he didn’t reach his room yet for sleeping.
“Dad, no! Fuck—“
“Hey, hey! We spoke to you about cursing in this house.” You followed Shikamaru as he goes to his room, leaning into his shoulder as he leaned on the door, looking at his angry son.
Your sweet voice made your son speak sooner.
“What’s happening, baby? Why did you yell at your father?”
“Like you don’t know…”
Shikamaru furrowed his eyebrows, you gave eachother a side glance.
“Know what, boy?”
“The ghost okay! My friends told me they usually are in the dark and I don’t want them to see me! They scare me all the time!”
You go to him at the end of the bed, scrunching down to be at his eye level and cupping his cheek.
“Baby, hey! Look at me.” You smiled as your scary boy looked at you. “No ghost is in our house, believe your mom and dad. And even if it was, your dad is stronger enough to fight them! You saw how cool his shadows are, right?” Your kid nodded, shiffing a little. “His ghosts are more powerful! He teach them a lesson today if you want to remind them how strong our boy is too! And they should never touch you! You’re the most protected in the village!”
As your voice turned sweeter, gesticulating dramatically to make the boy focused, distracting him, Shikamaru’s eyes soften at the sight.
“Really, dad?”
Shikamaru shrugged lazily, scratching the back of his head with a faint smirk even though he was a little embarassed.
“Yes, boy. You’ll be stronger like me soon and maybe you’ll be the one protecting us when you grew older.”
After you kissed your boy’s cheeck, you return to his father as he higged you from the side instinctively, murmuring in your year.
“I’ll talk to his parent’s friends too.” You nodded, both looking how your soon embrace his blanket, nor relaxed and ready to sleep.
Naruto 🍃
“Haah? What’s happening, buddy? Hello?” Naruto let out a soft laugh, having his arms opening for his boy to hug him as he came back.
You furrowed your eyebrows as your son start running through the stairs, almost like…scared?
You murmured a “I’ll talk to him” to your husband, kissing his blushed cheek after going to your daughter.
“Sweetheart, what’s happening?”
“K-kids at school told me my father has a devil fox inside him! Is that right? Is my father not my father? Just a fox?!” His tears crushed your soul, stinging for still existing stupid parents like that.
You let a loud breath, calming your nerves before coming to his level, taking his hands inside yours.
“Baby, Kurama isn’t a devil.” Your son raising her eyebrows at the name, confused. “Everybody who tells you that are a liar and you shouldn’t trust strangers, okay? Just mom and dad. Kurama made it possible for me and Naruto to have such a sweetheart boy like you, didn’t you know?”
“H-how?”
“He helped your dad to save the world like the hero it is!” Sensing Naruto’s presence, you look at the saddened expression of your man. “Did you know Karuma like you? Maybe you want to meet it him sometimes, what do you say?”
Still little afraid, he looked over at Naruto with a shy expression also.
“Can i, dad?”
Naruto grinning a little, nodding at him.
“Sure, buddy. Anytime you will he ready.”
Sasuke🍃
Sasuke felt his daughter little fingers on his neck, brushing lithly at the mark from his old curse.
He looked at her then as she bited her lips stressed.
“What’s the matter, daughter?”
He raised an eyebrows as she struggled to form words.
“M-mama told me you had….wings before…”
He asked her, confused.
“And why your mama told you that?”
“B-because i told h-her i’m afraid of birds and s-she explain that i s-shouldn’t and t-that birds are beautiful and wisdom and e-even my dad have it! S-she said your mark here is a proof of t-that!”
He tried to resonated with his wife’s choices, but his daughter surprised him again. A reminder how lucky he is for having two girls in his life with a innocent soul like he didn’t.
“It’s true, daddy? It gave you wisdom having wings?”
Wisdom. You could call it that. The haunting flashbacks from his past had shaped him, necessary burdens along his path.
He nodded, and she talk again.
“So birds are pretty and smart creatures like you?”
Sasuke’s cheek had a tint of blush at his daughter words. Her big, expecting eyes were too much for Sasuke to bare as both of their heads turn on the door, hearing you laugh softly at the scene in front of you.
An embarassed Sasuke speaking with his little girls about pretty birds.
Shino🍃
They are a constant presence, residing within her father’s body. And she thanked her mom genes that she didn’t have that too.
Because Shino’s daughter is really afraid of them.
Shino is a present father as she appreciate it him a lot, since he doesn’t miss any important evening in her life, neither her mother’s life. Still, she couldn’t stand when Shino try to show affection to her.
“Dad, don’t! I’m so sorry—“ She wavered her hands dramatically, pushing herself almost out of the chair from the dinning table. You, on the other hands, was a little taken aback by her reaction.
“What’s wrong baby? Why you react like that to your father?”
Shino’s widen eyes made her daugher sadden so she looked down, murmuring embarassed.
“…B-bugs…”
You laughed, while Shino’s voice made your turn your head towards him.
“I know you’re afraid from the start. I restrain them whenever you are here.”
She blinked twice, feeling a sudden blush for being so exposed and embarassed to don’t insult her father
“…Really?”
Shino nodded an “Yes.”
The only excuse she could find for her behaviour was to jump into her father’s arms, hugging him tightly. Your heart warmed at the sight, coming to hug both of them.
“Now do you wanna see one?”
His daugher rise immediately, looking shocked as she pushed him on his chest. “Dad!!”
Kankuro🍃
While Kankuro was fiddling with his puppets, his son peeked hesitantly around the doorframe, only half-visible behind it.
“Yes, son? Why are you standing like that?”
His little hands stayed tucked behind his back, his eyes fixed anywhere but on the puppets. Kankuro raised a brow.
“Oh, so my son is afraid of them? Understandable…” he smirked, eyeing him for a moment before returning to work.
“Not everyone’s cut out to handle them.”
The boy’s eyes went wide, then narrowed in outrage.
“Dad! Say sorry! That’s not fair! You said I’m the strongest person! Stronger than most!”
Kankuro let out a hearty laugh, still focused on his puppet. But something shifted when he heard the insistence in his son’s voice.
“How about this?”
The boy froze mid-tantrum, curiosity winning. He stepped closer to cradle the puppet that looked just a bit softer than the others.
“For me?” His eyes sparkled. “It looks like… a Kazekage!”
Kankuro smiled once more, watching as his son darted away with it—no doubt rushing to show you.
Kiba🍃
Akamaru seemed upset today, agitating Kiba that always is connect to his loyal dog.
“Akamaru, what happened?”
Akamaru whimpered, letting out a faint bark and lowering his head onto his paws.
Kiba furrowed his eyebrows, looking around until his daughter seemed avoiding his eyes.
“Kinda suspicious that my dog is upset at the same time my pretty girl is avoiding looking me?” She scoffed, looking at the window before murmuring.
“I don’t wanna play with him.”
Kiba raised an eyebrow, coming closer and putting a hand on his hip looking down at his pouty daughter.
“What did you say, baby?”
She furrowed her eyebrows in annoyce, still her voice was little, a tear escaped his eyes that widened Kiba’s eyes.
“I don’t wanna play with him! He hates me, he wanted to bite me today, dad! I swear—“
She stopped speaking, irritated by her father laugh. His smiled was still imprinted on his face, petting her hair.
“My sweet little girl, he is just playing with you! Let me show you.”
As Kiba played with his dog, annoying him especially in order to be bited lightly, until Kiba faked a cry that made Akamaru lick after it, sootening.
His daughter looked in surprise, coming with little steps to play with his dog.
Kiba’s smile widened, looking at the scene in front of him with his daughter on the ground, now laughing and fighting playfully with the dog as Akamaru run around her, lick her on the face or jumped on her.
Debrief: you’re in Suna for the holiday, and your boyfriend makes sure you’re taken care of
Warnings: SMUT, MDNI - 18+, p in v, creampie, use of pet names
Case Notes: one of my favorite underrated men 🖤 enjoy!
You don’t realize it’s Valentine’s Day at first.
Suna doesn’t mark the calendar the way other villages do, and missions blur time into a soft smear anyway. You’re halfway through untying your boots in Kankurō’s entryway when the scent hits you. It’s something warm and familiar. Comforting in a way that feels like home.
Your favorite food from home, a recipe from the leaf.
You pause before calling out to him, “Kankuro?”
“In here,” he answers, voice deliberately casual.
His place hasn’t changed much since the last time you were here. Low light. Clean in the way of someone who hates clutter but doesn’t care about aesthetics. The kitchen, though, looks… used. A pot still steaming. Chopping board pushed aside. A single vase on the counter that absolutely does not belong to him… you didn’t think he even knew what a vase was… but it held your favorite flowers.
You stare, tilting your head slowly. Like if you look away, it’ll disappear into thin air. He notices of course,
“Don’t,” he says immediately, turning his back to stir something, “Don’t make a thing out of it.”
You smile anyway, soft and fond, “Make a thing out of what?”
He huffs, shoulders tense beneath his jacket, “You’re in town. You’re staying here. I had the time. That’s all.”
You move closer, the desert evening pressing cool against the windows. The flowers are a little wind-worn, not the pristine kind from a shop. He went looking for them. You can tell. Picked them himself or hunted down someone who knew where to get them. That knowledge settles warm in your chest that he cared enough to do that.
Dinner is quiet in the best way. The kind of silence that doesn’t demand filling. He watches you eat, pretending not to. Asks about your mission. About how long you’ll be in Suna this time. You tell him a few weeks, and his shoulders loosen just a fraction cause while he’d never admit it, he loves having you in Suna with him.
After, when the dishes are done, he disappears into the bedroom and comes back with something small in his palm, sitting down beside you on the couch.
“For you,” he says, holding it out, “Before you say anything. It’s not a big deal.”
It’s a charm.
Wood, smoothed down to perfection. Jointed just enough to move if you tilt it. Carved with careful lines that echo all his puppets but softer, warmer. A thread looped through the top so you can wear it or tie it to your gear.
Your throat tightens.
“I had it warded,” he adds gruffly. “Nothing flashy. Just… protection. So I know you’re not being stupid.”
You laugh quietly, eyes shining, “You made this?”
He shrugs, like it’s not a big deal, “I had time.”
You step closer, fingers brushing his wrist as you take it. His pulse jumps. Always does. No matter how long it’s been. No matter how far apart you usually are.
“Thank you,” you say, and you mean more than the charm. You mean the flowers. The food. The weeks of thinking ahead. The way he loves you without spectacle.
He nods once, “Yeah.”
You don’t kiss him right away. You lean in, press your forehead to his shoulder instead, breathe him in. Sand and oil and home. His hands hover, uncertain for half a second, then settle at your back, firm and grounding.
“That’s it?” he murmurs.
You tilt your head up, lips brushing his jaw, “Happy Valentine’s Day, Kankurō.”
He exhales through his nose, defeated, “Told you not to make a big deal out of it.”
But he kisses you anyway. Slow. Intentional. Like he’s been saving it up across miles and months and quiet nights alone. His hands warm, sure, sliding to your waist, pulling you closer like he’s anchoring himself to you, pulling you into his lap.
Your legs straddle his hips, dipping into the couch cushions as your lips move more hungry against his, your hips grinding down against his growing bulge, drawing a grunt from his throat.
“Don’t get something started you don’t want to finish, Doll.” He murmurs into your mouth, his fingers gripping at your hips as he ruts up into you.
“Who said I don’t want to start something?” You quip back.
And just like that he’s lifting you, your legs wrapping around his waist as he carries you back to his bedroom.
💜🌸🎭🌸💜
“Kuro!” You cry out for him, his thick cock bullying your dripping cunt, your legs pressed against your chest as he continues to fuck into you, fucking his last two loads back into your sweet pussy.
“Shit— that’s it, Doll baby, take it.” He moans, sweat trickling down his neck from the exertion. His hips snap, his heavy balls smacking your ass with the every thrust, and his fingers work at your clit, watching as you squirm beneath him from the overstimulation, “you look so— fuck— fuckin’ pretty like this. You gonna cum again for me?”
His voice is a bit breathless, he can feel your velvety walls fluttering around him, threatening to milk him again at any moment now, as he talks you through it, “fuck baby, just like that—“
he groans as you cum, pulling his fingers away from your clit to let your legs rest against his shoulders as he bends over to kiss you, deep and tender as hips stutter, once again spilling his load into you, filling you full, deep inside your throbbing pussy as he swallows your whines.
“God you’re perfect. Happy Valentines, doll.” He murmurs softly against your fucked out, smiling lips.
“Are you alright?” He asks softly, pulling back just enough to let his brown yes gaze over your pretty expression.
“Perfect.” You say back softly, lifting up enough to steal a kiss, “Happy Valentine’s, love.”
