Sometimes I think about the contrast between scorpio and karno

The Karn/Mero stuff is so deeply sexual and also deeply Curséd, but it’s also really Fun (or hot, depending on where your head goes), it feels like it’s pulling from old sexual thrillers in the dynamic

Karn’s taking a mile after being given an inch, and a guy who is so Like This professionally that it makes sense that transitions to other parts of his life

Mero getting caught up in it is Bad in the real world context, but also, she just has that Energy (maybe she knows it, maybe she doesn’t?). I think she realized too late that her vibes link up perfectly with his, and it’s too late to extricate him from her the normal, polite way one could without hopefully making a scene of it all
