this is why sex ed is so important. Teach boys about female anatomy, don’t separate boys and girls, teach them both the SAME SEX ED SHIT! Men are so fucking ignorant about female anatomy, teach them. Make sure they fucking know, from a young age, how a goddamn uterus works. We need better sex ed, for everyone. Then shit like this would be far more difficult to pass because people would KNOW how dangerously insane it was.
The school is starting to talk about reproduction but NOT sex and I gave the permission slip a side-eyed look because sex is kind of a key component..... But I guess they were just talking about puberty and it said they would separate the boys and girls.
I put a big THEY SHOULDN’T BE SEPARATED, EVERYONE SHOULD LEARN THIS ABOUT EACH OTHER on the paper before sending it back.
We were lucky that our sex-ed class was really thorough, though they didn’t cover non-het sex. I don’t think they were allowed to, or I’m sure she would have.
