Maiko Kimisono of Sumiya okiya is currently wearing sakkou, her last hairstyle as a maiko, in preparation for her erikae. Her erikae ceremony takes place tomorrow!

Today in Miyajimacho we celebrated the misedashi (debut) of a new maiko: Kimisono of Sumiya okiya. Here she is posing with her elder sisters!
A new minarai has joined the ranks of Miyajimacho hanamachi!
