they have developed a genuine sisterhood where alisa feels like she’s an older sister to avery

alisa was secretly happy avery gained the inheritance after realizing how calm she was

avery has to FORCE alisa to not work and sometimes avery would have to get alisa to promise not to work

alisa went to avery when she had a thing with knox for advice

avery was so so happy alisa was in a relationship that made her happy

avery would purposely get knox and alisa to “coincidentally” meet eachother at places during their first stages

anytime avery sees a hate comment or hate on her, alisa would ask her if she’s okay

it was so normalized to the point where knox wasn’t even shocked when avery would enter her apartment

they work in absolute silence in rooms, and as soon as someone speaks, they shush them straight away

anytime the hawthorne brothers do something, they look at eachother and jst say “hawthornes.”

avery held an appreciation party of alisa after realizing all the work she did and alisa loved her so much for it

avery would find out the places that alisa really wanted to go (mainly through knox) and would buy her ticket before hand so she can’t get out of her holiday

anytime alisa sees avery and jameson being cute, she’ll say “what happened to lock and key?”

they never actually say it but they’re family to eachother at this point

they could get into arguments but be normal the next second

the internet doesn’t know alisa that well but they love it when avery and alisa are together

It was six in the morning, the New York sky still drenched in darkness. Alisa Ortega woke to a striking scene, her husband standing by the towering windows, shirtless, with a crying baby pressed gently against his chest.

Nikolai was about seven months old, though he seemed smaller than most babies his age, fragile in a way that made every movement feel careful, deliberate.

Alisa pushed herself up slowly, the sheets whispering against her skin as she watched them. The city beyond the glass was beginning to stir, faint lights flickering on in distant buildings, but inside the room, everything felt suspended in a quieter, more intimate world.

Knox hadn’t noticed she was awake. He stood still, swaying ever so slightly, murmuring something too soft to make out. The baby’s cries came in uneven bursts, sharp at first, then fading into soft, breathy whimpers against his chest.

“Hey,” Alisa said gently, her voice still thick with sleep.

He turned at once, relief flashing across his face like he’d been holding his breath. “I didn’t want to wake you,” he said, though it was clear he’d been struggling for a while.

She swung her legs over the side of the bed and crossed the room, her gaze settling on Nikolai. Up close, he looked even smaller, his tiny fingers curled into the fabric of his father’s shoulder, his face flushed from crying.

“Give him to me,” she said softly.

For a moment, Knox hesitated, not out of reluctance, but as if handing him over meant admitting he hadn’t known what else to do. Then he passed Nikolai carefully into her arms.

The baby settled almost instantly, his cries dissolving into quiet hiccups as Alisa held him close, her hand moving in slow, practiced circles along his back.

“There we go,” she murmured, pressing her cheek lightly to his head.

Knox let out a quiet breath, running a hand through his hair. “He just wouldn’t stop,” he admitted.

Alisa glanced up at him, a small, tired smile tugging at her lips. “He’s just figuring things out,” she said.

Outside, the first hint of dawn began to edge the skyline, pale and uncertain. Inside, Nikolai’s breathing evened out, soft and steady, as if the world had finally made sense again.

“Now,” Alisa exhaled, “what’s for-”

“PAPA!!”

A whirlwind of limbs burst through the door, a blur of pink pajamas and untamed curls. In seconds, the bed dipped under the sudden weight as Isabella launched herself onto it, clutching a pillow to her stomach like it was part of the mission.

She landed in a tangle, then popped upright, bright eyed and triumphant.

Little Isabella sat there, her curls a soft, chaotic halo around her head, her oversized pink pajamas slipping off one shoulder. She looked impossibly small and yet somehow full of enough energy to fill the entire penthouse. She was turning five soon. It didn’t seem real.

“Good morning to you too,” Knox said, his voice warm now, the earlier tension already fading.

“Papa, I waked up all by myself!” Isabella announced proudly, as if this were a historic achievement.

“I can see that,” he replied, stepping closer, one brow lifting slightly. “Very impressive, mon ange.”

She beamed, then her attention snapped immediately to Alisa and the baby. “Is Niko crying again?”

“Not anymore,” Alisa said gently, shifting him in her arms.

Isabella scooted closer on her knees, peering at him with intense concentration, as though she were personally responsible for inspecting his condition. “He’s still little,” she said after a moment, almost suspiciously.

“He’s supposed to be,” Alisa said, smiling.

There was a pause, rare, brief, before Isabella flopped dramatically onto her back, arms spread wide. “I’m hungry.”

Alisa laughed softly, the sound easing into the quiet morning air. “There it is.”

Knox shook his head, a grin tugging at his mouth. “Right on schedule.”

Outside, the sky had begun to soften, the darkness giving way to pale blue. Inside, the room felt fuller now, louder, warmer, alive in a different way.

Alisa looked between them: one child finally calm against her chest, the other already bouncing with the day ahead, and her husband standing in the middle of it all, caught somewhere between exhaustion and quiet joy.

“Alright,” Knox said, kneeling down to scoop Isabella up. “Let’s figure out breakfast before we have a full scale rebellion.”

“I want pancakes,” Isabella declared instantly, jabbing a tiny finger against her father's chest as if making her point land clearer.

“Of course you do.”

“And syrup.”

“Obviously.”

He sighed, but there was no real resistance in it. “I’m making coffee first,” he said, as he, and Isabella, by default, made their way to the door. “Non - negotiable.”

“Papa,” Isabella spoke, suddenly serious.

“Yes?”

“…be fast.”

For a second, he just stared at her, then laughed, the sound low and unguarded.

“Bossy,” he muttered.

Alisa adjusted Nikolai against her shoulder, watching the doorway for a moment before looking back at Isabella, who was now playing with Knox’s hair, tugging and pulling a couple “ow!”s from his mouth.

Five years ago, mornings had been quiet.

Now, they were chaotic, messy, loud, unpredictable.

And somehow, better.

Knox and Alisa Headcanons

Note:- I fear this might be a little ooc, For the anon requests and @athena-888 Warnings ⚠️:- Mentions of grief and trauma, slightly freaky (I will make a seperate post for thr freaky hc's)

They started of with just being physical but it was not just physical and they both knew it just too stubborn and scared to admit it

One day it all came crashing down and ever since that day they have been inseparable

They still hit rocky patches but they always find a way to work through it

Alisa truly lets herself relax when she is with him

Knox loves to plan cozy dates for the two of them where they just talk amd eat alot

They love to shower together

Avery and Gigi are their biggest shippers

They both had a drawer of clothes in eachothers apartment when they were 'just' physical - (IT WAS NOT CASUAL)

Their arguments either ends with them making out or giving eachother the cold shoulder no inbetween

Knox cried when he first opened up to Alisa about his life... She just hugged him and they fell asleep like that

After a long day of work Alisa loves to just collapse against his chest and let him massage her head

Knox is Nash's no 1 hater for what happened between him and Alisa

Because Avery and Jameson are her kids they became Knox's kids too, Knox now helps save their asses after seeing Alisa dealing with them (He also enables them from time to time)

They have a rule of taking one vacation atleast every 6 moths (Alisa needs it)

It was hard for Alisa to let him in but she did and that is the one thing she has never regretted

Words of affirmation and physical touch are their love language

Knox swears Alisa makes the best coffee in the world

Ever since they got together both of them seemed lighter as if a weight had been lifted off of their shoulder (it's the being in love glow)

Alisa loves olives, Knox hates them

At first his nickname for her was to annoy her but now it's a term of endearment

Knox cooks most of the times and Alisa loves having homemade food after years of eating takeout
