Things that I desperately need to see in kpdh 2 (or any other sequels there might come)
- MORE CELINE!!! Show me how Celine's relationship with Rumi has been since the night of the idol awards!! Show me how she dealt with Rumi going away after that (ominous as hell) speech she gave and how she is reacting to the new honmoon! Show me how her relationship with Mira and Zoey is right now as well! MORE CELINE
- Celine backstory: show me what happened with that woman, show me her past, show me her childhood, how she meet and entered the SLS, how was her first years raising rumi SHOW IT TO ME
- The sunlight sisters! Show me Miyeong's personality! Show me who TF is the third sunlight sister like WHATS HER NAME!?!? Show me more about them!
- I WANT THE RETURN OF THIRDLIGHT! WHAT IS SHE DOING IN THE CURRENT TIMELINE? HOW IS HER RELATIONSHIP WITH CELINE? IS SHE A THREAT TO RUMI? CAN SHE COME TO THE SIDE OF THE GIRLS IF SO? (give celine her on screen doomed toxic old woman yuri pleaseee)
- Miyeong falling in love with Rumi's father!! show me what happened to them, show me how she died!!
- Mira's family! I need to know more about Mira and her relationship with her family like how bad it truly is? How is her relationship with her brother? How did she got away from them? Show me her childhood and teenager years! (Also if her family is not a chaebol, I will kill myself bc this headcanon is very dear to me. Give me rich girl mira pleaseeee)
- Zoey backstory as well! Need it all! Need to know how she felt in USA and how her parents affected her
- I want to see how both the girls got recruited by the honmoon! How did they meet celine and rumi? It was through auditions or maybe celine/rumi discovering them in some other way? What was their reaction upon discovering the fact that demons are real and they need to fight them? Show me everything!
- also adding to that, how were they during their training years! What were their dynamics!? Did they all started getting along or did they had some conflict? How have their personalities changed over the years? Did Rumi had any close calls regards to her patterns nature?
- What are the consequences of the creating of a brand new honmoon? Now that Gwima is gone, how are the balance between the worlds working?
- Derpy and Sussie interacting with Zoey and Mira PLEASE!!! NEED THIS!
- THE GIRLS AND CELINE SURNAMES AAAAAAAAAAR

To anyone who thinks that four years is a looonnngg time to wait for KPop Demon Hunters 2: yes. You're right. It is a long time. But consider:
Zootopia 2 comes out this month; it's been nine years since the first Zootopia.
Moana 2 came out last year, eight years after the first one.
Wreck it Ralph was 2012; Ralph went on the break the Internet in 2018 after a hiatus of seven years.
In 2013 when I literally couldn't think or talk about anything but Frozen, there was absolutely zero concrete talk of a sequel; Frozen 2 wasn't confirmed until 2015 and released in 2019. Seven years. (admittedly with fun stuff in between).
In the grand scheme of animated movies, four years is the fast track.

They’re going to bring back Jinu in the sequel but it’ll be the Moonlight Knight.
For those unfamiliar with Sailor Moon, in the back half of the Negaverse arc, Darien, who up until that point had been Serena’s mutually-tsundere love interest while secretly playing the role of Tuxedo Mask, the Sailor Scouts’ support hero, is kidnapped and brainwashed by Queen Beryl, who makes him one of her generals and the Scouts’ greatest enemy. Meanwhile, a mysterious new figure begins appearing at the same moments Tuxedo Mask would have during fights and offering the same sort of support—the Moonlight Knight, who, rather than wearing a black tuxedo and basically a domino mask, is wearing a white Arabic-styled desert robe and full face-concealing mask. Also I think he had a scimitar?
Since the Scouts are now aware that Darien was Tuxedo Mask and he’s been brainwashed to be evil and is working against them, this introduces a new mystery to the story—who is the Moonlight Knight? The answer is the Moonlight Knight is the astrally-projected good elements of Darien’s soul, manifesting to protect Serena from his evil brainwashed body.
So. KPDH2, HUNTR/X is being menaced by Sexy Evil Jinu (actually Jinu’s body, claimed by Gwi-Ma at the end of KPDH) and a new band of lackeys while being supported by a mysterious guardian spirit (actually Jinu’s soul, gifted to Rumi at the end of KPHD).
This lets them build an entire second movie around the tension of Rumi and Jinu not being able to be together, again, while teasing a new love interest that ultimately turns out not to threaten the property’s core ship.
Why am I calling him Darien and not Mamoru, and her Serena and not Usagi? Why am I calling it the Negaverse arc and not the Dark Kingdom arc? Because that’s my point.
