the friend of convenience. yes, you can call me anytime, anywhere, talk about anything with me. i'll help you through your problems and talk it out with you. i'll drive you to that dentist appointment you need to go to and make plans with you. i'll ask you to do the same, ask you to simply listen while i talk. my texts always get ignored in the group chat and i go to parties by myself. and i can't ask for more, i don't want you to leave me, the only thing i can do is show you kindness and hope for kindness in return.

Some people have 'friends' that have other friends that you know they would choose before you. They're not even trying to ask you about anything, and again they always come up to you when no one over is around.

You're not even a second choice, because you're still misplaced in everyone's eyes..

I've haven't ever . had friends, Not really .

There's people I've sat with at lunch, or who I've gotten along with,but I hesitate to call them actual companions. They don't know my favorite color .Not that knowing someone's favorite color is an essential indicator of friendship-but it's weird how they never asked .

and I can tell. when people are sitting next to me, that they would prefer to be by someone else's side.people always continued walking when I stopped to tie my shoelaces .and I know objectively that this is a small and petty complaint-but over time it builds up. thousands of small needles digging into you, I feel like living taxidermy.

I'm so tired of never being the first choice .
