Tbh I feel really sorry for the Aston Martin team this year, especially the engineers and designers. They must look at the 2021 car and just see flaws, massive gaps, things their fingers must be itching to fix and make better. But they aren't allowed

To be clear, that's not Lawrence Stroll or Otmar Szafnauer or anyone else in the teams fault really. In the long term, I believe they are making the right decision to focus all their money and efforts in the 2022 car, which could be the basis for several years of f1 car.

But it just must feel shit for them to see the car in the low midfield every week, to have all this feedback from a 4xwdc, to just know in their hearts that they could make the AMR21 a better car.

At the end of the day they have to stay positive, they have to believe they can change it all round next year. And as I've said, this is what makes this years racing really frustrating

It's so annoying when people compare abortion control to gun control, like do people actual realise that desperate pregnant people have used anything and everything to stop being pregnant.

To be comparable, you'd have to argue that if you took guns away then people would use household objects to build their own weapons just as deadly. But that's not their argument.

It's far easier for police to confiscate illegal shipments of weapons/illegal guns than to confiscate all coat hangers/staircases/unlabelled medication

Exactly this. And not just that, max said a hundred times himself that he is a “fake Dutch” (his words, not mine) and that he doesn’t know much about the country since he barely spent any time here.

Hi Beth, thanks for the link - I'm sorry I have no idea when you sent this, so if its been a while i apologise.

I honestly can't believe the parallels in the situation, I completely forgot how chaotic it was after Nico announced his retirement, its also so interesting how one of the big arguments about Pascal was lack of experience going into a new regulation change and the quote about "how would someone so inexperienced fare alongside a three-time world champion?"

F1 really does go in circles sometimes but at least Toto doesn't find himself in the same exact position as he was in 5 years ago but I just can't get over how similar Pascal's situation was to George's, to be honest I'd love to see F1 write an article like this again.

I love Valtteri but, I can't help but imagine what things would have been like if Pascal or Esteban got that seat 5 years ago or a seat in a better team in general.
