Tony, I think someone's try to steal yo man-

I keep forgetting to say this, that Tony and Colin aren't canonically together anymore (because I fell out of the ship when I fell in love with collapsing clayhill Colin). So when you look at old panels, just think of them having a very close friendship.

This is no hate towards the digital time shippers btw. I still like the ship, just not as much as I used too.

Devlog 29

Sooo...I accidentally lied in my last post...

I mentioned that I would be launching the Steam page for Mizuki and the Crimson Moon right? Turns out that it takes up to a week for all the digital paperwork to be completed and stuff. I probably should have been ready for that, so I only have myself to blame. On the plus side, this week was still a great week for game development!

I had some friends and family playtest my game a got a ton of valuable feedback. To any game devs who are reading this: HAVE PEOPLE PLAYTEST YOUR GAME. You cannot playtest your own game, you just can't (bonus points if you get people with different experience levels to play your game). Don't backseat game your own game though, even if the person playing is really bad at it...

I also reworked and polished the dialog system within my game. The original length of the object that handles all that use to be 200+ lines of code, but now it's down to around 80. Gotta love optimization.

Oh! I also got the Yokai Forest area map looking nice and pretty. It was real nice to finally get that finished.

I'm really looking forward to next week, because other than getting a ton of other half-finished work finished, I'll ACTUALLY be creating and publishing my Steam page.

This must be sooooo Terrifying... 

The kids are only SIX freaking year olds. The other’s had their share of death scare with Anya and Damian were strapped to the collars with bombs, which Anya knew was fake, which was a small relief. But this time it’s the real deal and it’s meant to take every single one in the Bus!!! 

IDK if i’m losing my mind, but i know they are going to be saved someway or the other. It’s not their safety that I’m worried about. 

They will be rescued. Maybe by Yor, who could do a quick job with all the remaining Red Circus (in the bus or not) or Yuri, who could still come in at some point. Or even Fiona and Scruffy jumping in the fray. (Highly unlikely, but we also have Loid, who we know is going to snap when he finally finds about this whole mess, just not sure if he can manage to save the kids in the bus)

Or you know, after the cliffhanger this last chapter, 

Anya herself will somehow pull their own rescue, or be elemental in the whole rescue. 

She looks ready and so determined. 

But NO

The rescue itself is not what i’m worried about. 

It’s what comes after. It’s going to give these kids PTSD and some might not  even recover. They are just kids!!! No one should have to go through that!!! 

Anya herself has too much trauma, what with being in Lab for early half of her life and then being fostered way too many times for a six year old. I know this is a fun and light hearted manga, and that there were scary and traumatizing situations for her even before this, but this one by far is the most terrifying. 

Where are the Loid and Yor when you need them!!! 

This is the only thing that’s been going on in my head since i read last chapter.
