This is the basic idea for my model of the human mind for storytelling (intp used for example)

The open sky is the Conscious, where the Ego operates, the part of the mind we're most comfortable using. The deep ocean is the unpumbed depths of the Unconscious, the part of the mind we least understand and don't consciously use, where the "Shadow" operates. The cognitive functions (Ti, Ne etc.) All work together to create the human cognition, half in the Conscious, half in the Unconscious. Clear skies make for smooth sailing for the Ego, whereas in bad weather the Shadow must surface to take over operation of The Subject, which will generally be in a negative way for an immature subject.

There are so many more ideas I have for this, and this is just the bare bones of the idea, this doesn't even show the how the Subconscious or the Superego work. I don't know if there's a technical term for this or not, but for now I'm calling it a "living model", a model made to be explained through storytelling, almost like a story problem in math. So as the "plot" continues, different aspects of the model will be made clear.
