So I was originally gonna have like all the monkey demons pretty welcoming to their new queen. (Who would disagree with their kings am I right?)
But I had a small idea, what if Reader showing up sparked an idea in a wicked monkey demon or demoness. The thought of seducing the kings to become the queen themselves?
Maybe they would attempt to push Reader away from the duo, get her thinking they don't actually want her and just want a breeder? Or something.
Reader being from another world does mess up Macaque’s hearing around her (For now, maybe haven't decided if that part will stay or not)

(Putting this in order of how much motivation the songs give me.)
Carolina Reaper (Amelie Farren) - Macaque focused (obv), I think the song is pretty self-explanatory for a vision. Would take place over a wide range of points within the story. Easy to incorporate characters past just Shadowpeach.
Prologue (Chase Petra) - ndjskskdh bad idea to be listening to these songs as I’m writing these bc I keep adding to this freaking list SO MUCH. Also a Macaque focused, might honestly just make this later on regardless bc it’s one of the few shorter songs and it would be good for lip syncing practice and etc…
For Sebastian From a Friend (Hop Along) - also a Macaque focused one. Can you tell he’s my favorite? Lyrics are just so AUGH “and I am afraid of everything, especially the sun” just, AUGHHH. When I started planning out designs I also did thumbnail sketches originally planning for this one until I listened through my playlist again and really liked Carolina Reaper. This one would take place mostly, if not entirely, in the past.
The Garden (The Crane Wives) - both POV. Feel like this one is pretty clear in how it would be depicted by its lyrics.

White Winter Hymnal - this would be focused on both. Mainly on the past, again. A lot on their fight. I think it has a lot of potential to go in many directions with the lyrics. Also if it were to win it would need another poll to decide whether I use the OG Fleet Foxes version or the Pentatonix version.
Bitter Medicine (The Crane Wives) - I can see a SWK animatic coming out of this one. Either could work depending on the usage. Or could be both. 4min tho… :-:
