Eating my guitar pick on stage. Also: this shows very good that I am a band now. I am working with 6 instruments/divices on stage. 6! Right before the show, I realized what that meant. I said to my friends: "WHAT HAVE I DONE, I WISH I NEVER STARTED TO LOOP. I WISH I WOULD PLAY JUST ACOUSTIC GUITAR, EVERYTHING WILL GO WRONG!" Because indeed, at home sometimes (for no reason) it did go wrong. I was really so overwhelmed by everything and wished to run away. I could not concentrate, around me ppl talking, asking me things, trying to cheer me up, when all I could think about was that damn looping. My guitar was on stage, so I could not even practice. 2min before my gig I went behind the curtains and gladly could focus again. I was excited but also calm, cause I remembered my own strength and was carried by the supporting words of everyone who came with me. I believe that combination makes a great performance. For everyone who is not a musician: Playing a show is surreal, especially with such a huge audience like yesterday. After it you can't stop smiling, then at home you think you break down (muscle relief) and feel 200 years old. Then you wake up next day and want to do it all again.
