Transformers All-Sparks: Sierra and Jack's Friends (and Mr. Clay)
Drew this as a warm-up, but also for fun! Felt like creating a supporting cast to compliment my main human characters.
As the AU is mostly set in Nevada, of course I had to add Raf and Miko. Meanwhile Lori
And Denny Clay is here because he's my favorite character in RID2015.

Denny Clay, Sierra's Boss: In Jasper, there is a man, a bearded man with a distinctive flower-pattern shirt. A man that didn't realize pro wrestling was scripted until his thirties. A man with a love of collecting and selling junk, and for some odd reason has some of the most obscure stuff available in his scrapyard that should have been impossible to find for a myriad of reasons…
That man's name? Denny Clay, proud owner of the Vintage Salvage Depot for the Discriminating Nostalgist. A native of the Bay Area, he moved to Nevada when his first business went literally up in smoke (also because rent was expensive). In Nevada, he found a vast desert… PERFECT for a scrapyard in his mind!
The town eccentric, his goofy demeanor can either be charming or off-putting for many.
Lives and breathes a personal motto of his: "If one man's trash is another man's treasure, then it ain't trash in the first place!"
So happens to be Sierra's employer, as she works part time there. Not only are there many car parts to tinker with, she was ultimately won over when, as it turns out, the man has a treasure trove of vintage, authentic miniature model vehicles from a plethora of decades
Lori Jiménez: Temperamental and loyal in equal measure, Lori is Sierra's best friend, as well as co-captain of the cheer squad for the Jasper Memorial High Jaguars, the football team. Has a glare that can send said entire football team packing. Daughter of a prominent real estate developer.
Tends to be critical of others and especially herself when mistakes are made, but is young woman who cares deeply about her friends, willing to put others before herself when times are tough.
Explored her and Sierra's friendship dynamic here.
Raf Esquivel: Technical wizard and prodigy in all things STEM, but not so much in things like history and other humanities subjects. Became a friend of Jack's when Jack tutored him on history. Being the youngest of a big family and frequently neglected, Raf found out Jack was surprisingly fun to hang out when it came to video games (except in multiplayer RPGs, where Jack is an absolute overpowered menace). Doesn't usually like conflict, and yelling scares him a bit.
Miko Nakadai: Jack's best friend, a foreign exchange student from Japan who's basically recklessness incarnate, always looking for a thrill. Growing up in a rather strict household back home (though they genuinely mean well), living overseas gave her an opportunity to express herself, and that means being 'loud' in several ways, from her taste in music to her sense of fashion. She's pretty artistically gifted, with a talent for music. Has a mild inferiority complex due to the high expectations of her high status parents
20 years ago today Transformers Cybertron aired in America... with its third episode... Happy anniversary to my childhood show!
(consider this also a late tribute for it's original Japanese version Galaxy Force, which properly started with its first episode on Jan 8th 2005)

I actually like your idea of Mrs. Burns leaving the family instead of her being dead. Although the topic of parental abandonment is a heavy subject to talk about for younger audiences, it's still an important thing kids should learn about.
Thank you! Mostly is for angst, the topic of maternal abandonment is something I don't see much in children's cartoons unless is a bad divorce or the mother is depicted as 100% evil and a total jerk to her children and husband...
In my canon, Msr. Burns never wanted a big family, she just wanted a happy life with Charlie (mostly because of her past family abuse trauma that I haven't revealed yet), but Charlie, still accepting his wife's decision, did not feel fully happy. But, after Charlie's work became a 24/7 daily life... Msr. Burns was the one to start becoming unhappy... and thus... mistakes were made.
And for that, let me present you with a meme that explains the rest!
Imagine watching the English version of Transformers: Galaxy Force/Cybertron with Lori mentioning her brother. Only to watch the original Japanese version to learn that Lori is an only child.
