Groping your daughter/girlfriend while she's half asleep is the best compliment a girl could ever receive.

Tell her how pretty she is while you put your hand on her ass.

Tell you how proud you are of her while you lift her up on your lap and sit her down on your thigh.

Visualize golden white light growing like roots from your root chakra to the core of the Earth. And a stream of white light shooting from the top of your head, from your crown shakra, all the way up, flowing through the moon and sun, through the center of our galaxy and all the way back to you again.

Now imagine those two streams of light coming together in your heart.

What does that feel like?

Being angry is okay. Being upset is okay. Feeling your emotions is okay. You do not have to have permission to feel things.

something really soft about calling places ‘home’. home becomes hotel rooms and beaches with sandcastles and shared apartments and wherever their hand seems to be. home becomes a person and a time and a feeling.

Energy Flows Where Attention Goes 🔮

Two loving thoughts:

1.) This morning on my walk to the train I felt like I had back in the winter of 2017 when we were first starting to see each other. How each morning I would quietly walk back in the crisp air through the silent, cozy suburbs of Claypath from your house to mine. The only difference is there are no birds this time of year in the north of America. No morning chorus to accompany the show of pinks, and purples, and oranges that light up the wisps of early sky. I enjoy the cold now. It makes the warm times feel more full.

2.) I like how I have short little clips documenting the first days together up to now. I like how young we both look. How the environment around us looked. And those everyday moments didn’t feel out of the ordinary. You say in one, “what’s so interesting about seeing your boyfriend roll a joint?” surrounded by a couple of friends who are so far away now, in your small apartment above the pizza shop. Grimy pints upon pints, lots of little staged jigs, and foggy lens from my drunken and probably greasy fingers smudging the lens. It all serves a lovely memory.
