thinking about season 3 clown and rekrap specifically and their reputations of being “deadly” and “untrapable” both earned and intriguing in their own right it’s so facinating to notice very specific differences as to what those reputations entail for the characters across the season, especially in relation to the other lifetsealers

like, with clown you know he’s killable, he’s a force of nature and if you’re not careful you’ll be dead before you know it but he IS mortal and he will die. he only has to die when it is necessary, he is avoided at all other times. he’ll get you. he’s the death riding over the hill. but you can defeat death.

meanwhile. rek is untrapable. unkillable by trap means. that only sparks a challenge, a high pedestal that with every attempt only brings him further off the ground. up and up and up until he can’t truly differentiate friend from foe. there is always the option for an ulterior motive, you cannot rest, there are monsters nearby.
