Alan is the “I’m fine” type until he literally can’t stand straight

A total klutz when his head is foggy.

You know he’s a bit embarrassed so you try to ignore how he’s dropped his bottle 3 times and walked into the doorway each time he’s left and entered. 

You finally do something when you find him staring blankly at the wall. 

You walk over to him. "Are you okay?" Now that you have a closer look, his face does look a bit red. His temples a bit damp. You touch his forehead, he flinches slightly but doesn’t pull away.  "You have a fever!" He rubs his neck. "Oh, that's why." "That's why?" You echo. "You're literally burning. You should go to the dorm and rest." "I have-" "Nope." You push him from behind, guiding him to his room.

Eventually you force him into bed.

Subaru tries his very best not to inconvenience anyone when he’s sick. Which makes it difficult to even find out he’s ill at all.

If you even manage to get to his room, he immediately starts apologizing. 

“I’m so sorry for the trouble.” “You must be very busy.” “If you need to leave at any time, please don’t worry about me.” 

Meanwhile, you’re just trying to give him tea and feed him sweets. 

When he’s sick, he talks more than usual. Mostly rambling about oddly specific topics. 

The conversation can go from “fever medicine” to “rare antique clocks.” 

But you listen anyway. 

And eventually… he relaxes and falls asleep. 

-Ritsu: The Overprepared Patient 📁

Ritsu texts you to cancel an appointment. He says he’s sick. That’s it. 

You decide to check on him anyway. 

When he opens the door, he leans against the doorframe, clearly exhausted.  “I should have sent another message confirming the cancellation,” he says.  “Yeah, I saw it. I just wanted to make sure you’re ok. I brought some stuff too.” He pauses.  “You came here… simply because you were worried?”  “Yes?” You answer, confused at his confusion.  “Well… I suppose having company would be nice.”

Inside, everything is perfectly organized. 

Medicine. Water. Thermometer. All neatly arranged on the nightstand. Even when he’s sick, he’s meticulous. 

While you cut fruit for him, he starts explaining interesting law cases.

When you pour him medicine, he insists he can do it himself. When you try to feed him food, he takes the spoon from your hand. When you check his temperature, he rolls onto his side so you can’t see his face. 

Every time you ask how he’s feeling, he says the same thing. “I’m fine. Just leave.” 

But you stay. 

Ren wakes up, his fever noticeably better.  That’s when he notices you. Still kneeling beside the bed. Head resting on the edge of the mattress. Fast asleep.  He sighs softly.  “Senpai… you’re so stupid.” His fingers reach for your face brushing a loose strand away from your eyes.  “...Why would you waste your time taking care of someone like me?” 

-Romeo: The Boss Who Refuses to Rest 😠

He calls you into his office to help with work. You notice immediately. His steps are shaky, his words slightly slurred, his face bright red. 

“I think you’re sick.”  “Huh? Tell me something I don’t know,” he scoffs. “I didn’t bring you here to assess my health. Look through the files.”  You don’t move.  “I think you should rest.” “BB, what did I just—”  He staggers.  You catch him.  He’s heavier than expected. Panicked, you have no choice but to push him onto the couch— a bit rougher than intended.  “Oops, sorry.”  “H– How dare you?”  “Yes, yes,” you sigh, covering him with a blanket. “Lecture me after you’re better.”  “Tch. You’re getting braver and braver every day.” 

Romeo’s attendants bring everything he needs.

And while you watch the EITS, you keep glancing over at him while he sleeps— just to make sure he’s ok. 

-Yuri: The Doctor in Denial 🥼

Staring at the walls. Dragging his feet when he walks. Taking too long to answer simple questions. 

You and Jiro quickly realize something’s wrong. 

When you ask him, he insists it’s nothing. 

“I’m a doctor,” he says stiffly. “I couldn’t possibly be sick.”  Jiro doesn’t bother responding. He simply picks Yuri up, bridal style.  Yuri immediately snaps back to life.  “J-Just what are you doing, Jiro?! Put me down.”  “You’re sick, aren’t you?”  “I told you, I’m a doctor—” You interrupt, “Even the best doctors get sick. If they didn’t, how would they understand the heart of their patients? Right, Yuri?”  He freezes.  “O-Of course.” 

That logic is acceptable. 

So finally he allows the two of you to take care of him. 

When he’s actually in bed, Yuri becomes unexpectedly quiet. Almost childlike. 

And sometime later, while half-asleep you hear him mumble softly, “...Mama…” 

Jiro thinks that’s funny. 

-Lyca: The Grumpy Wolf 🐺

Lyca is in a bad mood. He hates being sick.

Rui has asked you to try to convince him to take his medicine.

You find him curled up on his bed, breathing unevenly. “Lyca… are you ok?”  “Go away.” His voice is rough.  You step closer anyway.  “This always happens once a year,” he mutters. “I hate it. Sickness or whatever it is. My body feels... wrong.” "That's why you should drink medicine." Lyca covers his head with a blanket. "Blonde Gigolo sent you, didn't he?" You kneel beside the bed. “Come on, Lyca. Please?”  He eyes the bottle up and down.  “No, it smells terrible.”  “That’s because it’s medicine.”  “I’d rather suffer.”  “You’ll get better faster if you drink it.”  “No.”  You sigh. “If you don’t get better, we won’t be able to go to the park like we promised.” His ears twitch. “And you won’t be able to eat Sho’s food. And we won’t be able to play basketball all together.”  He groans, snatches the spoon and downs it in one go.  He sticks his tongue out.  “Gross. Worse than veggies.”  Despite his complaints, he eventually curls closer to you, exhausted.  “...Don’t leave.”  You nod.  After a while, his eyes close and his breath evens.
