Summary: Luffy is captured by a rather eager girl. Stumbling upon her slightly clumsy but kind sister. Drawn by your kindness, the two of you bond. Straw hats coming to his rescue, yet it appears they aren't the only one's. Opposite sides joining forces for a chance of escape.

“I’ve got you now, pirate.” The twinkle in her eyes saying enough. The young pirate before her, drunkenly bewitched. Smiling silly, body swaying a bit in a circle. The girl before him laughing overjoyed. Giving the bottle a sweet kiss for doing its work.

Sighing relieved, she set it down. Humming sweetly as she approached him with a bouncy step. Giving the straw hat he was wearing a flick with her finger. Coming to his back, she set her hands on his shoulders. Pushing him down to sit. The pirate obeying with little effort. 

Her eyes widened when the door opened with a bit too much force. You stumbled inside, tripping over something. The young pirate suddenly snapped out of it. “Y/n!” She called out in frustration. “Sorry…” You responded, helping yourself up. “Oh…sorry I didn’t know you had company.” Answering to her.

The pirate looked from you to the other girl. The girl sighing loudly. “I told you to stay away.” She spoke, rubbing her forehead. Your sister stepped away from the pirate, who remained seated. Going to a small table, tossing a rope at you. “As you are here now, make yourself useful sister.” 

You caught the rope, quirking your eyebrow a bit up. “Tie him up.” She ordered. The tone in her voice made you startle. Nervously you walked over to him. “Sorry.” You whispered to him. Figuring out how you were going to tackle this. Taking each side, you went to his back.

Wrapping both your arms around him, humming loud as it didn’t quite feel right. Your sister groaning loudly. Returning to the front, you held one end up with a thoughtful expression. Seeing the boy lift his hand a bit up. “Could you hold this for me?” You asked. 

“Sure.” He responded with a goofy smile. Holding one end, you circled around him with the rest, wrapping him in rope. After a few spins, you returned to the front, tying the two ends together. The boy smiled with little care.

You stumbled backwards when your sister pulled at your shoulder. “What are you going to do with him?” You asked her. “None of your concern.” She bit back at you. “So you two are sisters.” He said, smiling. “Shut it!” Your sister answered rudely with a point. “I’m Y/n.” You responded, receiving a hard glare from her. 

“Nice to meet you Y/n, I’m Luffy.” He said with a bow of his head. It made you smile. Your sister groaning in annoyance. “This isn’t some relaxing get together.” She called out. She approached Luffy, pulling his head back by his hair. “Be careful.” You said.

She shot you a glare over her shoulder. “Leave!” With a firm point at the door, she didn’t want you near. Silently obeying, you left. Sighing loud as you sat yourself down on your bed. Staying out of your sister’s business. For she didn’t want you around, finding you too gentle. 

When the sun had set, you were tormented with worry. Quietly leaving your room, to head back to the main room where Luffy was. Or you still hoped he was. Listening in at the door, you heard no voices. The light dimmed coming from underneath the doorway.

Creakingly the door opened, popping your head curiously inside. “Y/n!” Luffy exclaimed. You shushed him immediately, closing the door behind you. Going towards the candle, you started to light the room more. Filling a glass afterwards. “You must be thirsty.” You said, coming to sit on the ground by his side. 

Offering him the glass to help him drink. “You are most kind.” Luffy said with a goofy smile. “So would my sister say.” You answered, batting your gaze down. “She says I can’t be a real pirate because I am too kind.” Offering him the glass again. Luffy puffed loud. “The straw hat pirates are.” He answered.

“Who are they?” You questioned, leaning with your hands on his knee. Luffy smiled all smug. “I am.” Saying proudly. Gasping in surprise, you leaned more to him. “We are the embodiment of good pirates. You’d fit right in.” He said with a nudge your way. “You think so.” Responding shyly.

Luffy hummed loud with a vigorous nod. “Will you tell me about them?” Intrigued to hear more about him and his crew. Elbow resting on his knee, you supported your chin with your hand. Looking with fondness up to him. 

Luffy happily told you about his crew. Telling about his adventures. In love with his stories, it felt like a dream. Your sister had made clear far too many times, you were too kind for this world. That it would only lead to people taking advantage of you and that you needed to toughen up. Hearing his stomach growl, you got up to retrieve some bread.

Sitting back by his side, feeding him the bread. “Where are your parents, Y/n?” Luffy questioned, looking curiously around. Exhaling softly, you lowered your gaze. “Out on the big blue, chasing adventure.” You told him. “Without the two of you?” Luffy’s eyebrows furrowed. “They didn’t think we were worthy yet as pirates. I guess that is why my sister tries so hard.” 

Your gaze met with his. Curling up a smile of your own from seeing his. “Their loss.” He whispered to you. His words made you smile even more. Heart fluttering how he was playing it so easily. “Why don’t you come with me?” He offered, catching you off guard.

“You won’t face the big blue from within these four walls.” Lifting his head up to look from wall to wall. “Why…why would you even want me?” Your insecurity peaking through your words. Luffy lowered his head, smiling back at you. “You’re cute.” He spoke, instantly making your cheeks flush. 

“What do you say Y/n? I could use a good pirate like yourself.” Letting his knee thump against you for extra encouragement. Shyly you smiled downwards. “Y/n!” Your name got roared out. Gasping loud, your head shot in the direction of your sister.

Panting angrily in the door opening. With fury she stomped towards you. Grabbing you roughly by the elbow, pulling you up. “Hey!” Luffy called out. “I told you to stay out of it!” She bit at you. Dragging you out of the room.

“You never learn!” She called out, shoving you into your bedroom. You rushed to the door, hearing it go in the lock. Pounding on the door and pulling the doorknob vigorously you screamed to open the door. 

Luffy swallowed nervously when your sister entered the room once more. She pulled his head back by his hair. “Au, au, au, auw.” Luffy rapidly said, feeling the strong tugs on his hair. “Taking advantage of my sister?” She called out. “I wasn’t.” Luffy responded. Mouthing another yelp of pain when he got pulled harder by his hair.

Her glare making Luffy swallow frighteningly. She raised her fist, ready to punch. Muscles contracting from startled fright when the side-door got kicked open. “Hands off, missy.” The pirate, pointing his sword forwards, spoke. Three more at his side in the door opening. 

Luffy exclaimed excitingly at his crew. “Sorry to keep you waiting, cap’n.” The blonde guy said with a nod to Luffy. Your sister let go of Luffy, pulling out a dagger of her own. She gestured at the pirates to approach her. Zoro was about to approach her when he ducked down.

So did everyone else when the glass far behind Luffy shattered. Three to four men rolling in the room. “Are they with you?” Your sister called out. “Are they not with you?” Usopp replied with confusion. The newly entered party of pirates smiled all smug. 

Two more dropped in, rushing forwards. Your sisters and the others turned their attention to them. Luffy turned around, stretching his arms out. Knocking two heads to each other. Your sister gawking at him. “You could do that the entire time?” Surprised he hadn’t attempted it before. He could’ve easily freed himself.

Luffy pulled the rope over his head, freeing himself. Giving her a pulled up shoulder. She squealed loud, jumping back when one of the ruggy pirates leaped at her. Straw hat pirates joining the fight. Some pirates were deliberately going for the drawers and closets. They were here to rob. 

More pirates rolled in as the room became crowded. Ruggy pirates pulling drawers out. Tables getting flipped over. Bookshelves pulled from against the walls to the ground. Leaving a cluttering mess. Outnumbered, the straw hats knew they wouldn’t stand a chance. They rushed to the door.

Luffy extended his arm, grabbing your sister along. Rushing outside, gathering a bit further away in the gardens. “Where is Y/n?” Luffy said concerningly. Suddenly aware you weren’t in the room with them. “I’ve…locked her up.” Your sister spoke with shame. Luffy shoved her aside, making his way back to the house. 

You kept screaming your sister’s name out. Thumping loud on the wood. Demanding her to open the door. Sudden hash grips on the handle made you gasp loud. Move weary back. Thundering thumps shuddered against the door.

Moving a hand to your mouth, it was clear that was not your sister. Running to your nightstand, you grabbed a candle holder. Fingers tightening around it. Swallowing nervously for the surprise. Hinges flew off the door, swinging it open with a deafening thud against the wall.

A sturdy pirate entered the room, huffing loud. He spotted you in the corner. Curling up a smile. Making his way over to you. Taking a swing with the candle holder, he moved his arm up to block the blow. 

Letting go of it, you duck down. Rolling underneath his arm, away from him. Getting up, you gave him a kick. The pirate stumbled against your table. Grabbing the sides firmly. Panting loud, you took a run for it. Hearing the wreckage from within the house. Knowing that pirate hadn’t come alone.

Going the other way, you hoped to not encounter any more. Breathing heavily, looking over your shoulder. Turning back to look, only seconds too late, bumping against someone. Foreheads knocking against each other. “Y/n!” Luffy exclaimed, rubbing his forehead. “Luffy!” You answered with surprise. 

Hearing the commotion from behind you, he grabbed your hand. Taking a run for it with you. “What is happening?” You called out. “You are being robbed.” He responded. “What?” You yelped out in a panic. Knowing your next question, he answered it before they even came an ask. “She is safe outside.” Pulling you around a corner.

Coming to a stop when at the end of the corridor a pirate had appeared. Luffy kept you behind him. Extending his arm, to punch him. “You can do that?” You called out. “Yeah.” Luffy answered. Taking your hand once more. Leading you outside to where the others were. 

“Y/n!” Your sister ran up to you, arms wrapping her arms around you. Her eyes locked with Luffy, behind you. “Thank you.” She said. “Don’t thank me, she freed herself before I could reach her.” Luffy answered. Shocked, your sister pulled you back.

“With the help of a rugged pirate and a candle holder.” You spoke proudly. Luffy’s hands found settlement on your shoulders. “More than worthy enough.” Saying to you. You turned around to him. “Does your request still stand?” You asked. “Wait, what request?” Your sister pitched in. “It sure does.” Luffy replied with a smile. 

“Then I accept.” Holding your hand out to him. Luffy took your hand, pulling you against his chest. Hugging you in a rocking motion. Pressing a kiss against your cheek.

Removing his straw hat, swinging it around in the air. “What did you just agree upon, Y/n?” Your sister wanted to know. “Yeah, I would like to know too.” Nami agreed, crossing her arms. Luffy took your hand, taking a bow. “Our newest member.” 

Nami pulled her shoulder up with a hum. Your sister staring in shock back at you. “You can join too if you like?” Approaching her. Politely she shook her head. “This is yours Y/n. I’ll take my own path.” Pulling you close for a hug.

“See you on the big blue.” Moving away, she saluted you. “See you on the big blue.” You responded, waving her goodbye. No longer bound by a house and brave enough to take on the adventure, you parted ways.

Luffy’s world seemed to spin on its axis as Nami told him you were injured. He ran towards the spot where you were fighting with all his might, the taste of victory souring in his mouth. When he found you, he had to take a step back. Injured seemed like such an understatement for the shape you were in. Battered and bruised, cuts and blood staining your skin, it more so seemed like you’d been to hell and back.

And yet, you were awake. Your eyes found him the second he came into view. Soundless, you called his name and he was quickly by your side. “It’s alright, you’ll be alright”, he whispered, though he was finding it hard to believe his own words.

His hands held your shoulders, his touch so soft it would’ve taken you by surprise had you not been so focused on not passing out. Luffy helped you to a sitting position and brought your body against his. He wrapped his arms around you, held your head against his chest, right above his accelerated heartbeat. He shut his eyes tightly, focusing on the way your body molded to his, repeating “I’m not losing you” in his head like a mantra.

Sanji paced outside the door, glancing at it every time he heard a noise. Over and over again he replayed in his mind the moment you got hurt. The blood all over you, the sound of bones breaking, your desperate cry of his name, your hand reaching out to him—it would all haunt his nightmares, even if you survived this.

When the door finally opened, his head snapped back to look at Chopper. All distress and anguish vanished the moment he said you would live. Sanji clutched his hair and cursed. Chopper's pleas to let him take care of his wounds fell on deaf ears. All that mattered was that you’d be okay, everything else could wait.

Ignoring his friend’s protests, he stalked into the room. Sharp pain made its home in his chest, all air stolen from his lungs, as he gazed upon your unconscious body on the bed. Covered in bandages, traces of blood still everywhere. You looked so frail that, for a painful moment, Chopper’s promise tasted of lies.

Wavering steps took him to your bedside. Weightless, he fell to his knees. A trembling hand held yours, but it was not enough to convince him you would be alright. Sanji inched closer and pressed his chest softly against your side, his head buried in the crook of your neck. He nuzzled into your skin, letting your warmth seep into him, deep into his bones, so that he’d know, with every fiber of his being, that he had not lost you.

You swear you have never witnessed a smile like that before. The smile that is always on his face, and the straw hat that always rests on his head. You have never come across a man as charming and weird as him. He says he's gonna be the king of pirates and somehow, you believe him too. Because if it's him, anything and everything is possible. He'd announce it to the world that he's gonna be the king without an ounce of doubt or hesitation.

You knew you can never be him, never. Not even a fraction of him could fit in you. You never thought you'd be saying this but, “Being a pirate doesn't sound so bad”, you had blurted out in front of him.

That wasn't a big deal, not at all. He'd never onboard someone like you, right? He needs strong and confident people; not a coward and scaredy cat like yourself. Why would he? You can't even do a basic chore let alone fight. You aren't even capable of protecting yourself, being by his side seems impossible.

And yet, you craved the warmth that his smile brought— the life that could've been if you were stronger.

However, you were baffled the moment he was leaving the island. At the shore of the sea, his ship was docked, unfurling the sails, unanchoring the anchor. His crewmates waved at him to come onboard.

The blonde chef called out to him, “Luffy, let's go. Come over”

You feigned a smile— that barely looked like any you had given him during his stay here, “They are calling you. You should go”, you said. Fingers fidgeting with the hem of your shirt.

It was fine, you knew he had to leave. Then, why does it feel so heavy to see him actually leave? The fact, that you wouldn't be seeing his smile, hearing his voice and laugh, seeing him rupturing your heart.

His smile brought warmth in the cold of this island, his voice shattered the ice surrounding your life, his eyes surged your time again, the sight of his straw hats transmuted the dull greys into colours, once again.

He looked at you with a confused gaze, tilting his head to the side, “Just me? We, you're coming along”

The words struck your heart once, doubting if your ears had misheard anything, “Huh?”, you gasp.

“Yeah! I mean, we are friends now!”, he replies with the most wide smile you've seen on him.

“No, I mean.. why me? Don't you need strong people in your crew— I'd just be a dead weight..”

“Hm.. and? Why does it matter? If you wanna do it, then you should! That's all there is to it”, he replies like that's the most common thing to do.

You shrug, “But..”

You inhaled an amount of air and spoke, “But I can't even protect myself!”

Bluntly he replied,

“I'll protect you and teach you”

“But I don't even know the basics of sailing!”

Again, bluntly he replied,

“We will teach you”

“But I would be of no use to you!”

He looked straight at you with those big eyes, “It doesn't matter. You're my friend, not an object to use.”

You bit your lower lip staring at him, “But..”, unsure of what to say. You blink away the tears that prickled at the ends of your eyes.

“Do you want to or not?”, he asks straight forwardly with eyes that seem bore into your very being for a response. The weight of his gaze made it impossible to lie.

“Yes, I want to”, you replied with a sniffle.

“Then let's go!”

“Mhm, Captain”

A/n~ Idk, just a weird short fic. I don't know. It just came to my mind and I just wrote it. And sorry, it's very short.

"Okay!"

And that’s all it takes. He doesn’t even hesitate, just rushes over, bright-eyed and grinning—completely trusting, completely Luffy.

And the second he’s close enough, you pounce.

"Nom nom nom nom." You bite his soft, gummy cheeks, sinking your teeth in just enough to make him squeal, stretching his skin between your fingers as he flails and laughs. You poke his sides, tickle his ribs, squeeze him tight while he wriggles, calling your name between gasps and giggles. He gets a few nips in too—cheeky little bites to your shoulder, your arm—but you’ve got him, your teeth grazing his wrist, his jaw, before you start pressing playful kisses against that scar under his eye.

His hat. His precious hat. You make sure not to knock it off, one hand steady on top to keep it in place, but eventually, you shift it back just a little—just enough to sink your fingers into his messy, inky black hair. His laughter slows into something softer, a warm hum of happiness, and then you just hug him.

Head tucked against his shoulder, arms wrapped around him, and he’s beaming, all warmth and sunshine as he holds you just as tight. His body is warm against yours, the sound of his giggles buzzing in your ear like the happiest little melody.

Luffy is tasty. Luffy is yummy.

Luffy is the sun personified.

And right now, he’s all yours.

Fell First, Fell Harder

A/N: This was 1) inspired by the fell first fell harder trend cause I was thinking Luffy would do well as both and 2) it's inspired by this short story I read for one of my classes called "Happy Endings" by Margaret Atwood (it's very fun), which is where I got the idea for the different versions of the story! I hope you all enjoy!

Luffy fell first and he fell harder. 

No matter the circumstances.

A.

At a single glance, Luffy fell for you and you fell just as fast. He’s gravitating towards you just as you gravitate towards him. There hardly needs to be a single word spoken between you two past a simple greeting because you two just know. It’s as if your very souls know--as if they’d been calling out for each other your whole lives. Two sides of the same coin is what you two are. 

He helps your island. You help his crew. He asks you to join his crew and you agree before he can even finish the question. 

Where one is found, the other is right there too. There is rarely anywhere you two go alone. Many a crew member have commented “if they could crawl into each other's skin, they would have a long time ago.” 

You fall harder and harder for each other the longer and longer you two are together. You’ll follow him wherever he goes, just as he will follow you and you both will do so till you are old and gray and wrinkled. You two will follow each other into death’s embrace and live together forever in whatever sunny afterlife awaits you. 

B.

Luffy saw you, working for the enemy, yet still fell. He could see your pain--your struggle for survival and wants to help. 

You don’t. You see him as a thorn in your side. Someone in the way of your plans. You don’t want or need his help. You joined your Captain's crew for a reason and no amount of love Luffy gives you is going to change that. 

Luffy can’t get you out of his head and he can’t help but keep falling harder for you. Not when you stand for the same things he stands for, no matter how you choose to go about it. 

Fighting occurs. The Straw Hats win. You are left beaten and bruised and, even when you fought against his family--when you tried to kill them--he extends a hand out for you. He wants you to take it so badly. Wants you to be free with him and yet you spit at his feet. You can’t fathom why he would offer you any amount of love.

He offers you the freedom you’ve been craving so easily. You hate it. You reject it. 

You limp away, never once turning back to look at him.

Luffy understands, no matter his disappointment, and walks away too.

He believes you’ll meet again and when the time comes, he’ll offer his hand for you to take once more. 

C.

Luffy falls for you the moment you give him an extra loaf of bread he didn’t have the berri to afford. You gave it to him because of his smile and warmth--things he wants to keep sharing with you as long as you will let him.

Luffy saves you from a band of bandits raiding your bakery and you fall for him hard. You keep falling for him over and over again the longer you follow him across the Grand Line. 

You two spend day after day together. Neither one of you ever wants to let go of the other. You two are happy and oh so carefree within each other's arms. 

The Straw Hats face off against an unforgiving foe. It’s a hard battle. The crew can hardly find the strength to keep on fighting, not when their bodies are beaten beyond repair. 

You’re injured too. Bad.

Luffy sees this and defeats the big bad at just the last minute.

Chopper can’t get to you in time.

Luffy loves you even when you are no longer in this world with him. He’ll love you till the day he leaves it too. 

D.

You’re a part of the enemy's crew and yet Luffy falls for you the moment you shed a tear for the village your boss has just destroyed. 

Luffy wants to save you. You want him to save you too. 

You help Luffy even when you know doing so has put a target on your back. Though, with your extra help, Luffy and his crew defeat your former one. He asks you to join him--to sail around the world and help whoever you wish to help. You join him with hardly a second thought and do just that. 

Everyday Luffy is around you, the more you two talk and laugh with each other, harder and harder he falls. You fall right back and you fall hard because he has become your best friend. 

You follow him throughout his journey and he helps you learn to love yourself despite all the bad from your past.

E. 

You believe you’ve fallen first for Luffy and are stuck in a constant battle against your own emotions because you believe Luffy has only ever viewed you as a friend--a fellow crewmate. 

Luffy believes you two have been together ever since you joined his crew--has loved you since then. Nami even told him this--that you liked him and he thought that was that. He loves you and you love him, therefore you were his. 

Robin tells you this one day and you only fall harder for him.

“Baby!” You protest, the bullet buzzing in your hand. You switch it off. Luffy keeps her foot on your shoulder, her gold anklet glinting in the lamplight. The little beetle charm dangles off the chain. You touch her ankle. “Are you okay?”

Luffy is panting, staring at the ceiling. “Yeah. I came.”

You burst into a laugh of disbelief. “That wasn’t your orgasm face at all! You looked scared!”

Luffy hides her face in her elbow. “Shut up! It felt weird, okay?!” She pouts her pretty lips out.

“Sorry, sorry,” you relent, lifting her foot up so you can delicately kiss her ankle. She peeks at you from under her elbow.

“Can I use it on you?”

You toss the bullet onto her stomach. “Do your worst, pirate king.”

Then Luffy is grinning, shooting up from the bed to push you down onto it. Your head hits the foot of the mattress, and she’s already spreading your legs before you’ve gotten your bearings. Her hair is all fluffy and messy, her face still flushed from her orgasm. She dives down to taste you, the glutton that she is, and your eyes flutter closed at the familiar pleasure. She eats you out so much it’s strange when her face isn’t between your thighs.

“Lu-Luffy!” You complain, “Vibrator, remember?”

“Better,” you allow, wiggling your hips to get more comfortable. The tip of the bullet is just slightly to the left of where you’d like it. “Go right a bit,” you instruct, and Luffy follows.

“Here?” She asks, voice lowered. She circles it, trying to find the right spot and tease you at the same time. She’s maddening in bed.
