Taiyang Xiao Long has the same meaning as Yang Xiao Long, i.e. "Little Sun Dragon". But "Tai" used as a prefix basically means Big or Elder. So yeah, he basically named Yang "Junior".

Well, I never pass up an opportunity to recommend RWBY songs. I promise, just three songs I won't flood your inbox with RWBY. But the songs I want to recommend are: Gold, Path to Isolation, and Until the End from RWBY

Tunglr showed this like the oldest ask instead of the newest, that’s why I didn’t find it yesterday!! 

This is for Gold, it was inspired by the music, I didn’t listen to the lyrics well. It is very random. But I liked Path of isolation too, it’s not really my genre (is it the soundtrack to a show? Maybe I would enjoy it more knowing what they’re talking about) but they’re great songs! 

‘Today I fell in love.’ says Nicolò, more to his teddy bear than his mother. Mrs.Di Genova laughs, looks at her son in the mirror of the car. The traffic is a nightmare, but Nicky is totally unaware of the confusion outside of the car, he looks out of the window with big blue eyes and a little frown. 

‘Oh, really? I want to meet her.’ 

‘It’s a boy,’ Nicky corrects her with his serious tone, so endearing coming from his little figure ‘His name is Yusuf, and he is the bestest.’ 

Mrs.Di Genova is momentarily silent, her eyes wide as she absorbs the information. Nicolò keeps talking, clutching Carl, his most prized possession. 

‘We always play together and he has the best games. Today I was a pirate, Andy was a spy and Quynh was the bad evil lord.’

‘That’s great. Why do you like Yusuf?’

‘He is... nice.’ Nicky frowns. He doesn’t really talk much, he has always been a quiet kid, even if he often gets into trouble. Mrs.Di Genova loves him so fiercely in that moment that if she could, she would stop the car just to kiss him and hug him in that instant. 

‘I am sure he is amazing. Maybe you could show me who he is at the recital, if you want.’

‘Oh, yes! He plays the Sun!’ Nicky exclaims, with much more enthusiasm than when he talked about his own role, the Moon (he has one line, ‘So is yours’, and Mrs.Di Genova is secretly worried he’ll forget to say it in the right moment). 

From that day on, Yusuf’s name is a constant of Nicky’s stories, so much that Nicky’s father asks about him when Nicky comes home. At the recital, Mrs.Di Genova pays close attention to the little kids until she sees a curly-haired boy wearing a gold crown and a bright yellow costume, proclaiming his lines ( ‘YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE DONE THAT, FOOL!’)  proudly in front of all the parents. Mrs.Di Genova has to admit Yusuf is the only decent actor in the entire production. One girl, Andy, kicks the teacher in the shins and refuses to say her lines, Nicky forgets his one scene and there’s a small girl, maybe the famous Quynh Nicky admires so much, who screams as she jumps down from the stage to hug her dad coming back from a work trip. 

‘How did the recital go, darling?’ asks Mrs.Di Genova later, a bit worried. Nicky has still his face painted silver, grey and blue, and silver glitter in his hair. To her surprise, Nicky smiles brightly, jumping out of the car with sugar fuelled energy. 

‘It was AWESOME.’

 ‘See, this is us at... oh my God, Yusuf, how old we were, four?’ ‘You look so cute! Oh my god, Yusuf, your cheeks! You were adorable!’ ‘I was the Moon, I had one line.’ ‘I remember! You had to say ‘So is yours’ and you forgot!’ ‘Theatre was never my thing. The only good thing I did on that recital was telling you that I liked you.’ ‘I can’t believe you two knew each other from kindergarten and then became roommates in college.’ ‘I believe we were meant to find each other again. It’s like destiny.’ ‘Who is the incurable romantic now?’ ‘Nile, tell him, I can’t reason with him on this...’

I appreciate you so much, I try to make that known a lot but, after today when I spent a lot of time a bit bitter about how underappreciated the hermits accomplishments in the mcc were it was nice to be about to vent a little in the tags of your post. I didn't think any one would read them but you did and you thoughts they my thoughts on the subject needed to be shared and that meant a lot. I really hate being bitter but there is a lot of positivity on you blog and it helps - 💙💚

Ohhh!! There’s no problem with being bitter! I was/am also bitter over how underappreciated the hermits are when they are in fact just as good as other creators. In fact, it was really liberating to see your tags and I knew I wasn’t the only one who felt that way. It’s totally valid to feel sad and angry, and I think it’s important to know that we’re not alone in feeling those negative emotions.

... I said this before but one tweet really hurt me because it was so painfully accurate. It said the hermits are just memes in the eyes of mcyt community/ mcytwtt. And it’s so true. Think about it: False Supremacy, Lord Grian Dreamslayer, Cub Supremacy. Of course fans of them use these terms but... in the end, to a lot of people, they’re just memes. Builders who were lucky. Just there for comic relief. Just there to be laughed at. And although the tweet was “bitter”, it validated my feelings. So... I kinda wanna spread that.

(Like... I don’t want to feel negative. I don’t want to go “boo hoo hermits are underrated, let’s make hermits trend” when they didn’t win MCC. Because when the hermits won, I don’t want other fans to go “boo hoo dream team didn’t win, let’s make them trend”. I believe all winning teams deserve their moment. But at the same time I don’t want to bottle up all these emotions.)

Lmao I wrote that long positivity vent to make myself feel better and I’m surprised and happy that other people also liked the post! Also thank you for being so supportive of me and my fics!! 💙💚 Appreciate ya!

I agree, AH x Derp crew is the best crossover ever. I hadn't watched AH before the collabs happened and they just vibed together so well it made me want to watch more AH content. I love watching Ze stuff and Galms solo/fps games

Yesssss I remember watching the TTT episode all of them did together on AH's channel back in 2019 (and it's free of him for those who want to watch it now) and it was great fun! I've also watched a bit of GaLm and Ze's solo stuff - I loved GaLm's Halo ODST playthrough that he did!
