MAFE (mass alter formation event)
A MAFE is a plural-exclusive term used to describe when many alters form at once.
This can happen due to a number of reasons; stress, anxiety, many things that need the brain to protect, or even just by another alter, a willoing complication, or any other reason.
it can be used for when many parts form at a similar time, or when many fragments gain their identity at similar times.
