Understanding Burnout: How to Spot It and What to Do About It 💥💥
“Am I actually tired… or just mentally exhausted from everything?”
Okay, so burnout… it’s one of those things we hear about all the time, but don’t really notice until we’re deep in it. Like, at first it just feels like being tired or not in the mood to do anything. You tell yourself, “I’ll be fine after a good night’s sleep.” But then days pass, and you still feel the same—drained, irritated, and honestly just done with everything. 🥀💔
I think one of the biggest signs of burnout is when things you used to enjoy start to feel like a burden. Even simple tasks begin to feel heavy. You lose motivation, your concentration worsens, and small things become annoying. Sometimes, it also shows up physically. You might experience headaches, trouble sleeping, or feel exhausted all the time, no matter how much you rest. Mentally, it feels like your brain is always overloaded while also being blank at the same time.
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” — Theodore Roosevelt
Being a student means that burnout can be quite a severe experience. There is always an overload of tasks, strict deadlines, and constant anxiety about achieving good results. One may start postponing everything, not due to laziness, but because one simply lacks energy. This leads to even more guilt, creating a vicious circle which lefts you more anxious. 🧠🔫
So how do we actually spot it?
I guess the first step is admitting that you’re burned out.
Not ignoring it or pushing through like everything’s fine.
You’ll also notice a weird mix of stress and inaction
Procrastination can also reveal itself through perfectionism; if you find yourself procrastinating because you have to be “in the perfect mood,” “have the perfect idea,” or the “perfect time,” then it is indeed procrastination.
and imperfection is totally fine.
Sometimes, procrastination shows up as overplanning. Making long to-do lists,i do this alot 😭🙏🏻
“It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way you carry it.” — Lou Holtz
THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU'RE HAVING BURNOUTS 🪄
Take proper breaks (not guilty ones)
Not the kind where you’re scrolling and still stressing. Step away mentally—go outside, listen to music, or just sit quietly for a bit.
You can eat your favourite food as it work for me 💁🏻♀️
And as for me- my home is my dearest friend divya,i like to spend time with her and i forgot all my problems when im with her💌
Do the things, which you like doing the most. As i like watching shows, reading novels, listening to my favourite music and journal's.
Lower your expectations for a while
You don’t need to be at your best every day.
Talk it out- Whether it’s a friend, family member, or even writing in a journal—getting thoughts out of your head reduces that heavy feeling.
Start slow, not perfect
You don’t need a “perfect comeback.” Even 10 minutes of effort is a good restart.
I’m still figuring it out myself, honestly. But I think learning to pause, breathe, and not be so hard on myself is a good place to start. And maybe that’s enough for now 🤍
Why do you think you feel burned out?
Too much workload
Pressure to do well
Lack of rest
"Compartmentalization is a necessary function of the sapient mind. Every species I've met with human-level--or potentially beyond human-level--intelligence has been capable of going, "sure, the world is ending, but what about my soup?" I honestly believe that without that capacity for self-distracting, we'd all break under the weight of the world we have to live in."
- from That Ain't Witchcraft by Seanan McGuire
Hello! This is Stan speaking, and I just wanted to say that yana won’t be active as much due to the fact that her phone stopped working, she may have lost a lot of her art in the process (her comic art), so it be appreciated if all of you stay patient as the comic will again be delayed until she can get a new phone, or fix her old one. I will be trying my best to help manage the account!
“Today’s big achievement was annihilating several doom piles that were scattered throughout our bedroom courtesy of my brothers.”
“We have worked as a team to remove them and tidy up the space to get ready for next week.”
“Dave’s going to be away at a retreat with Miss. Miller, so we’re all going to have to manage ourselves and also add in some extra chores.”
“I know we can do it! We can do it and still squeeze in time to do whatever fun things possible. I’ve got playlists prepped for Alvin and the planner and he’s got his visual timer. As long as we don’t let momentum slide, we will succeed.”
“Who adjusted the difficulty level on my life from impossible to medium? Because, whoever you are…THANK YOU SO MUCH!”
“I was so tired of suffering and now I feel like I actually have a small handle on all the things that used to frustrate me to tears. It’s incredible.”
“I’m just so HAPPY. I’m so lucky to be here. The identity crisis is healing up at last and I’m almost feeling sane again.”

Download everything I want/hope to read in EPUB format. I try to anyways... if I notice I got too many tabs open on my browser, time to download If multi-chapter remember first to press 'Entire Work' and then 'Download'
I am terrible at remembering book titles that's why I do the covers ; I find I can better recall the story with an image.
