This is by far like, my most detailed yet I think. Also my most ambitious. I'm really fucking happy with it

my hcs for marauders era character heights

remus: 207 cm (6'9) man is an absolute UNIT (once sirius finds out his height in feet/inches he never stops teasing him about it)

james: 196 cm (6'5) also very tall

sirius: 185 cm (6'1) not short but pissy because all his friends are tall

peter: 175 cm (5'9) sirius calls him short. no further comment

lily: 163 cm (5'4) is the shortest and is very angry about it

mary: 180 cm (5'11) calls lily short <3

marlene: 168 cm (5'6) thinks dorcas being taller than her is very hot and doesn't shut up about it

regulus: 165 cm (5'5) a full foot shorter than james, pretends to be annoyed but he's probably turned on

barty: 201 cm (6'7) also a unit, makes remus give him piggy-back rides because everyone else is too short

evan: 173 cm (5'8) a year older than barty yet almost a foot shorter... he is not pleased (barty worships him tho so it's ok)

pandora: 182 cm (6'0) blames her height on feminism, can pick both her girlfriends up and is proud of it

dorcas: 175 cm (5'9) slightly taller than peter and likes to rub it in his face

in my mind Regulus wrote one last letter to sirius before going into the cave. I think this is how it went.

"always remember one sons sacrifice for the other ones freedom sirius. I might die in the next hour or two but know it was to try and protect you and everyone you and I ever loved. so I am dying just to protect you. I always loved you, I know I didn't show it right and pushed you away but I love you 'Ri, always and forever. if you want to know where I am, call B and Evs. they will most likely take you there.

and then, of course, sirius cries and calls Barty and Evan over to take him take him to the cave. but Regulus just got out of the cave with Dorcas, Pandora, and randomly Lily, Mary, Marlene, and Remus, all of them scolding Reg about why he would do that alone.

The slytherins (minus Dorcas because she wanted to stay with her girlfriend) went to the muggle world, living a normal life. of course, the griffindors who rescued Regulus knew where they were, and when they were almost killed, they went to hide there. By 1982, Regulus, Barty, Evan, Pandora, Luna, Dorcas, Marlene, Lily, James, Harry, Mary, and Remus were all there, likemasive family. all they needed was Sirius, and then they would be together again.
