Removes a romanced Kaidan's pointed accusation of 'cheating' towards a female Shepard who had a relationship in Mass Effect 2. Allows a female Shepard who had a relationship in ME2 to rekindle with Ka

As promised, here is the very first version of Nobody Cheated, a mod for Mass Effect 3. This mod affects both the Hospital scene and the Citadel meetup later on in-game. Plans to expand this mod are definitely afoot, but as of right now, this is completely functional and will serve a player’s needs just fine. At no point is Shepard ever accused of being a cheater anymore... not by him, and not even by herself, either! This mod retains all choice functionality without ever bringing up that issue, and it has been localised to the best of my ability into all languages available for the game.

I’ve decided to give Mass Effect 3 a canon run through (or two) before ME: A comes out. I had forgotten how labour intensive it is to edit your coalesced.bin, never mind dealing with textures.

I’ve never modded the textures in the game before, so I’m putting that part off until tomorrow. I’ve also never used GeDoSaTo (for downsampling, since SRWE and WBG don’t work in ME3). So much learning to do.

BEHOLD! A MILESTONE HAS BEEN HIT! 

What better day than the day of jokes is there to post about my big huge giant Joker mod in progress? This video showcase shows off one of the three different ways of having this conversation (this one is the sort of Paragon path, I suppose, it’s being more direct and open.) All of the new lines have now been completely custom animated, and this branch is now complete. It is also the last video I will post here until I am working on a different scene. Dailies will be available on the YouTube channel, but only slightly more polished things where it comes to videos will appear here, from hereon out. All dialogue has been implemented in this scene and is functional, and only 10 custom lines’ lip-sync remain before the entire scene is feature-complete. The rest of the game had better watch out, because I am coming for it.

Bridge Conversation Edits

I am writing a lot of dialogue scenes on the Bridge at the moment for Hatboy Project and implementing them as I go. (Only a few more FaceFX things left in the Flux Bar scene and then it is feature complete!) Are there any conversations taking place in the Bridge that you'd specifically want to see? Any specific changes to existing conversations? Any specific additions? Bear in mind, dialogue is not so much a limit because I can splice audio and also use a synth, and this goes for both Shepard and Joker. Yes, I am making this mod for me, but I am also making it for you, the community! I want to hear from you other folks who wear the ballcap.

The romancing-him-version of post-Thessia conversation where Shepard tells off Joker for his joke in poor taste is now the longest conversation between them in the game so far

This touches on a little of the “I got you killed” guilt angle but not too much yet, more in the romance scene itself/Citadel probably, because it is possible to not get him to open up on the Bridge through dialogue choices

EDI is kept platonic throughout all this and edits have been made to account for that

Found a little ambient conversation between Mordin and Joker that I thought could use an edit, so I set it up and put it ingame. Here’s the audio put together. This conversation only triggers if the Shepard/Joker romance is active.
