I can´t be the only one who thinks Leandra and Thane's deaths were unnecessary for the plot...

I mean, what good is killing them except for making players cry? I can't think of one. The chantry would still go kaboom and the qunari would still probably lose their shit at some point, and this all would work just fine with Leandra alive.

As for Thane, are you going to look me in the eye and say that it's possible to bring shepard from the dead and not have at least some form of treatment for Thane's illness? Maybe not a cure, but something that would make him live for more time. I hate these videogames
