Matthew Warner, in order to better be like Bruce Wayne, is trying to find his own ward within Arkham. So far the only person volunteering for the position is Pyg.
Catwoman in this movie like, has her breakdown, decides to become a villain...sort of a villain... she isn't a thief or anything just initially wants revenge on her boss... and then just... with no training...no prior experience in villainy, she fully attacks Batman (who has previously saved her but ok). Just... thinking she will succeed where trained fighters before her have failed.
I know she is supposed to be not in her right mind in this version but that is a bold choice.
Then she decides to put herself on the same level of villain as the Penguin... who runs a whole murdery gang and is trying to take over the leadership of the city... Girl, you are not on his level.
Amazing. I mean, I love her. But child!me definitely did not notice the many batshit elements of this movie, including all this.

Matthew’s Bruce — ref. used DC Comics Batman #61
Reading from The Crack-Up by F. Scott Fitzgerald:
“Of course, all life is a process of breaking down, but the blows that do the dramatic side of the work — the big sudden blows that come, or seem to come, from outside — the ones you remember and blame things on and, in moments of weakness, tell your friends about, don't show their effect all at once. There is another sort of blow that comes from within — that you don't feel until it's too late to do anything about it, until you realize with finality that in some regard you will never be as good a man again. The first sort of breakage seems to happen quick — the second kind happens almost without your knowing it, but is realized suddenly indeed.”

Found hanging in the Batcave. It reads:
Master Bruce,
I understand that it is a lot to ask of you, but would you please exercise some restraint? When I mentioned wanting grandkids I did not mean for you to take in every wayward child you laid your eyes upon.
I fear this may be too subtle for him.
