Forever cackling about the fact that Mary and Matthew were the horniest and most affectionate couple on Downton. I adore this picture because Matthew is so obviously thinking what a wonderful, wonderful mother she's going to be ... the way Mary smiles and plays with Sybbie and Matthew watches them both adoringly and this is right after they've both learned that it is now actually POSSIBLE for them to have children and the way he supportively puts a hand on her shoulder to tell her he's so proud of her for being a mother figure to Sybbie <3 <3 <3

Also, he looks EXCEPTIONALLY adorable in cricket whites.
