pandora and barty would be the type of best friends who’d regularly have conversations where pandora would say things like “barty babes an idea came to me in a dream last night!!! 😍😍 what if i brew you a potion using the crushed up bones of 10 different creatures’ wings and then the night after you drink it we wrap you up tightly to see if you undergo metamorphosis. then the next morning we can throw you off the astrology tower and see if you fly!!!🥰😋😍☺️🤭” and barty would respond with shit like “omg panda you’re an absolute genius…..maybe just put a few drops of evan’s blood in the potion so it doesn’t taste yucky 😰😰😰” and anyone who accidentally heard their conversation would be horrified because what the everliving FUCK

Here me out, Sirius is a star, regulus is a constellation. He looked up to Sirius even though he'd never admit it, and also his cousins let's be honest. His personality is a mixture of all of his role models making a constellation from the black family stars.

what are your headcanons for prongsfoot?

here are some of my current favs !! (not all of them are mine, but most are!)

james pays for sirius like 70% of the time just because he can

james cooks really well and sirius has never touched a pot in his life

tried to teach other their languages and failed horrendously

james is the only maurader who likes spicy food and sirius forced himself to build up a tolerance to it because he wants to go to all of james' favourite restaurants

sirius talks a Lot with james. he generally keeps to himself and james is the outgoing one, but they switch roles when they're alone (usually)

james has a deeply skewed moral compass for sirius to the point he really wouldn't've minded the prank had remus not been betrayed

also, sirius was the one who skewed james' moral compass in general

sirius has an antler tattoo on his v-line.

james grew up around muggle kids so he knows a fair amount about them and sirius, who realises this somewhere in second year, demands james tell him Everything

when sirius ran away, he stayed in james' bed the entire summer

they can have minutes long silent discussions with their eyes. people at school got used to it, but at the first Order meeting where they both go silent and stare at each other for three minutes and 17 seconds Moody decides they can never be paired up together

Could you tell us more about how you picture James/Sirius? I love some prongsfoot angst

I woke up this morning with a fully formed prongsfoot fic in my head I plan to write, so I'll save some of the juiciest stuff for that, BUT! Here's the overall gist: I headcanon Sirius as gay and James as technically, functionally bisexual but with deeply rooted internalized homophobia that prevents him from ever actually accepting it. I think James cares a lot about what other people think about him and being impressive and same-sex desire is a reality for him that he cannot reconcile with the image he has of himself. I feel like there's a ton of cognitive dissonance in his regard for Sirius, where he's obsessed with him and parasitically close with him and they're attached at the hip and fool around sexually (or, it's fooling in James's head, not for Sirius), but he maintains that none of this actually makes him gay in any way. Sirius is constantly led on, and holds out hope James might figure shit out far longer than is healthy.

Sirius is like, deeply and truly in love with James and willing to overlook or be complicit in every hurtful thing he does. Furthermore, he's used to being the black sheep of his family and ostracized for his beliefs, being gay is just one more thing added to this list, so he is far more willing to acknowledge it even if there's significant shame, there.

I tend to think of James and Sirius as a unit within the Marauders--the ringleaders, and also these envied cool-boys to the whole school. James needs this attention and will do anything to maintain it, where Sirius doesn't really care and only needs James's love and James's approval (the one regard he cannot actually secure!). Meanwhile, Remus acts as their handler in some ways, trying to protect James from himself and Sirius from James and both of them from being in trouble all the time. He knows how Sirius feels about James and knows James will never return it and worries Sirius is hurtling down some self destructive path in perusing it. All the while Peter trails along, content to warm himself by any of their flames, also gay, also ashamed, but with none of Sirius's devil may care attitude and effortless cool about it. Sirius secretly resents Peter for this--for being what he is but for being more pathetic about it( or at least tha'ts what he tells himself, because of course Peter casts a mirror on Sirius, who is just as pathetic in his own way, desperately in love with his best friend who will never give him what he wants).

The Marauders on TikTok:

Remus: Has a lot of followers and really has no clue why. Most of his followers are lgbtq+. His videos don’t really match a certain theme, it’s just what ever he wants to do. Doesn’t post super frequently. 

Sirius: Most of his videos are James, Remus, and himself. Has a lot of people complimenting him in the comments constantly. He has a couple “couply” videos with Remus.  He probably goes live a lot.

James:  James mostly does comedy videos and dumb skits, sometimes featuring Sirius. He responds to every single comment that he possible can. He has a couple viral videos that are used at audios. 

Peter: Has one video of him baking a cheesecake, refuses to show his face on any of the other Marauder’s tiktoks. His only followers are from the one time that James pranked him.
