Recently I've noticed myself becoming more and more obsessed with being 'healthy'. It's always been something I've been conscious of, but recently it's starting to matter more and more to me.
I've started the MAX workouts programme and the structured timetable is forcing me to be a lot more committed, which is great. I get really wound up if I can't go to the gym when I feel working out - I actually got so wound up that I cried today.. That's not like me at all, but I guess it's good that it now matters so much to me that it can cause that kind of reaction (I did go, just a couple of hours later than I had originally planned).
I've also been trying to eat clean. I use a lot of the Blogilates recipes which are great, and I manage fine until the evening, but then I really struggle to resist sweet things like ice cream or chocolate, both of which are plentiful in the house. Watching my parents eat it makes it really difficult for me to say no, and too often I don't. But I am trying, and today I am determined not to give in.
I may not be seeing much progress in my looks, but I feel stronger and the workouts are becoming easier. So it's looking up :)
