I’ve been thinking about Hayden as a player lately, and I’ve decided that it would be funny if he was like a top ten draft pick himself

Like we know when Shane got drafted Montreal was doing really poorly, hadn’t made playoffs in a while, so Shane definitely wasn’t their first top ten draft pick. And knowing hockey’s penchant for a dynamic duo, a center and winger especially, Hayden has to be pretty good to play on the same line as Shane (I’m pretty sure he does but if he doesn’t then oh well, I’m having fun). Hayden gets drafted a few years before Shane, but it’s still when Montreal is ass, so he’s gotta be a relatively high draft pick, I’m thinking somewhere between 4-7. It would explain why he gets so annoyed when ilya calls him Montreal’s 15th best player (I can’t remember if that’s the right number, but yall know what I mean) if he’s actually like the second best on the team.

#before yall can come at me about how amazing Shane is and how he does it all by himself #look at all the greats in real hockey #crosby #mcdavid #literally the great one himself aka Gretzky #they are all parts of dynamic duos #often with their partner being a high draft pick as well #Shane is great at hockey #but no one can carry a team by themselves (except possibly goalies but even then they can’t score goals to win)#so someone on Montreal needs to be helping Shane out #personally I like to think Hayden and J.J. are both top ten picks #but if Hayden’s on the same line as Shane then he isn’t one of the worst players #if anything he’s one of the best #heated rivalry #Shane Hollander #ilya rozanov #Hayden pike #hollanov

Say what you want about the Oilers, or Connor McDavid but for me as a Devils fan, I will not quickly forget how for the DEVILS pride night at the prudential center, visiting team Captain Connor McDavid was the only player to use pride tape during warmups. No Devils player used it that night. So yeah, go Connor I’d be happy to see you lift the cup.

don’t know if anyone’s even gonna see this bc tumblrs a hit or miss but i’m relatively new to hockey and was wondering how like . playing after the olympics against the ppl that were in the same line as u works.

like mcdavid and celebrini were on the same line playing together and saturday they’re playing against each other . what’s stopping them from like using their trainings together against each other. LIKE does that even make sense .

IDK. i feel like i sound stupid but i’m wondering if like they trained in milan and worked through game strats and now either one could like . play that against the other ???????
