14. Interlude Pt2

I WAS FRAGGING WAIT SO MUCH TO SHOW YOU MY BABY: Giant imposing cool MEGATRONUS (but actually he was trying to say "Hello"). EXTRA Spoiler: long disquisition on character design. Uh, I dislike very, very much Megatronus design in covenant of Primus... He doesn't say neither "VERY BIG VIOLENT" or "BIG GUY MISTAKEN AS BAD". Is quite bland.

I don't know if, like TFP Micronus Design I found around, there is a yassified version of him (also I don't going along with RiD2015 design, also because thrown away Covenant background). So I discard almost all Aligned references and go with my own idea pretty much inspiring by Coppola's Dracula Armour and get driven by my taste for RoboKnights. Also, I want to follow the concept of Prima & Megatronus as opposites, sort of Alpha\Omega or Nega one of the other, both in the design and the behaviour, seen Prima as calm, logic, composed figure, opposed by the passional, impulsive and ferocious Megatronus*; with the idea that Prima has the most similar appearance of Primus while Megatronus is similar to Unicron (referred also to Prima's researches of who among Primes were more inclined to be Unicron alike... which totally in the end hit everybody in the ass. Thank you Prima, you pompous light robot demigod.) *but that's totally a polarizing of their personality (and in the end how legends tends to describe them: as archetype, not persons. Note: Yes Mega has not an arm. Guess who didn't take well the Nemesis cannon thing.

Talking about other Primes: I thought initially to put Amalgamous (seen the skinny guy) as "Optimus clown show", but I found in the end the scene a little lack of impact, so I choose the bartender trying to cheer up Optimus with Engex. Ofc there's cyberverse and comics inspirations, but I wanted to follow more the concept of Alchemist a Dyonisus alike (a divinity I like a lot but... huh not exactly Mr serious) more than "the sage bartender that give you always good advices". He's more... trying to cheer you up while put in your hands plenty of alchol (and probably invented and passed the Molotov recipe to humans).

Prowl and the constructicons

So I read about the constructicons being the JP ship captains, so yeah I had to write about it, and how they interact with Prowl.

The Constructicons would be the engineering team behind Prowl's mech repairs. Since they are a bit brute, the rest of the scientists and engineers would think they are stupid and receive no recognition. However, Prowl is aware that it is them who fix his mech, and he’d be kind to them, like saying thank you for their work, etc. They also start having Prowl sleep in the same room as them so Tarantulas can't get at him during the night when he has a crazy theory to try.

After this, the Constructicons would follow Prowl around all the time, ensuring he has all of his needs covered. They are also the ones ready to tear Jazz apart if he does anything harmful to Prowl, just for them to realize that they are in love and are starting to fangirl over their relationship. They are also the founders of the Prowl Appreciation Club and the JP Shipper Club; they have T-shirts and all. THEY CANNOT BE STOPPED!.
