I visit Hyun-Woo nightly. I know he worries about me. What a jerk, right? Worrying about me when he’s the one being punished for loving me. I can’t get him to tell me what’s happening; he had ‘joked’ once that there was no key for the cell they kept him in. Every time I see him, he looks less like himself. He’s been struggling to remember little details.

But he’s always asking after Rumi.

Sometimes when we’ve all fallen asleep at the same time, our dreams merge long enough for him to hold her again.

Oh, Rumi. If you could understand how much he loves you.

I think you keep him fighting most of all.

He says he doesn’t hear the voices anymore. He doesn’t feel Gwi-Ma’s power over him. When he sees me — when he holds you… his shame is gone. The fear and guilt washes away, and… he’s just himself.

His patterns look different lately, too. They shine in ways I’ve never seen on a demon before.

Headcanon - Wheh Mi-Yeong dies, Celine isn’t automatically picked to be Rumi’s guardian. Instead, Rumi is put in foster care and sent to another family. Those few months when Celine isn’t able to get custody are some of, if not the, worst months of her life.

Sugar Momma Celine with an unintentional “sugar baby” reader who is like idk anywhere between 25-30 (Bc how old do we think Celine is, tbh? I’m aiming for like late 40s / early 50s).

She’s actually the younger sister of mi-yeong’s friend from America

Said friend and Celine bonded during the sunlight sister era and even more so when mi-yeong died

Friend’s sister lowkey became Rumi’s baby sitter even though she was only like around the same age if not 5 years older oops lol.

SOMEONE had to watch the baby while Celine was off slaying demons.

Reader’s sister always just thought Celine was busy due to the way the idol industry is. Both of them are just in the dark when it comes to the demons.

Okay but reader’s sister moves back to America once reader is old enough to fend for herself right.

Reader stays in Seoul.

They both kinda fall off from Celine and Rumi once Huntrix forms.

During the movie she’s just kinda there in the background

Post movie, reader’s sister hits Celine up and is like “hey can you make sure my sibling is okay and look after her?”

This is after learning that reader had a near death experience thanks Saja boys

So Celine does check in on reader, as she provides Rumi and her friends space, all while trying to find a way to heal from her past traumas and whatever trauma she dumped onto the girls, mainly Rumi.

Still working on how they end up dating BUUUT I’m thinking that maybe they just go out to a bar one night and they both just spill what’s been going on as soon as they get tipsy

Idk maybe reader is like “yeah this is a weird confession but I always thought you were hot” or whatever. Or she’s like not so subtly hinting that she’s into older women.

Keep on baring with me okay, bc whatever happens, they share a kiss and potentially end the night in one or the other’s bed?

Anyway, like I said still working on it just imagine Celine falling HARD and showering reader with every lavish fucking thing possible 😭

Like that’s her way of expressing her love and reader is just like “wow Celine is so nice, I love living in this new mansion that she provided me”

Or “wow Celine bought me an expensive ass car I wonder why though???”

Like reader just kind of brushes off their first hook up as just that… a one night stand, heat of the moment type of thing, bc she can’t imagine being wanted by Celine for more than anything else.

She’s a former idol and star, much older, probably has a bunch of men or woman graveling at her feet, and she’s your older sister’s friend… there’s no wayyyy she wants to pursue anything more.

Except she does you dumbass, bc why the fuck else would she keep asking you on dates and buying you flowers and expensive ass luxury items with the hopes of having many more intimate nights with you, bc for some reason Celine just feels so damn free when she’s around you.

I think Celine herself doesn’t even realize that’s why she’s doing all of that until like months later when your sister finally comes to visit and she sees how you two interact and she pulls Celine to the side and is like “what the fuck”

In which Celine is also like “what the fuck”

And then your sister gives her a fucking talk. Like “if you’re gonna pursue her, get your shit together, and don’t break her heart bc I will fuck you up” type of talk.

Celine internally laughs bc she can definitely defend herself but also she’s having a gay panic bc she can’t believe just how right your sister is.

Your sister also calls her a cougar and Celine just short circuits.

Anyway I imagine after a few more months of dancing around you, Celine goes to your sister again and is like “how do I confess”

Little does she know that you already went to both Rumi and your sister for the same advice.

Rumi poor baby doesn’t have the slightest fucking clue what to tell you bc why are you trying to fuck her mother figure???

Your sister is just like “idk just fucking tell her” to both you and Celine lmao

So yall mutually confess in the most embarrassing way possible idk but it’s cute and you guys end up dating the end!

Here's a question: How the heck was Korea not overrun by demons between the Sunlight Sisters falling apart to Huntrix forming????

So I've been thinking about this for a few days. We know that Mi-yeong died when Rumi was born/shortly thereafter, and we see no mention of the third Sunlight Sister in the movie, and it doesn't seem like she was involved in raising Rumi and training Huntrix at all. So like...how was Gwi-Ma and the demons kept in check before Huntrix formed and started properly fighting the demons?

Mi-yeong dying would've been emotionally devastating to the Sunlight Sisters, but also, that's one less Hunter fighting demons, throwing off the Sunlight Sisters' synergy and power, and it doesn't seem like the third Sunlight Sister stuck around. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Celine kept fighting demons as she was raising Rumi, and seems to have kept performing, if the shots from previous award ceremonies where she's with young Rumi are any indication, but that's probably like at least fifteen years or so between the Sunlight Sisters falling apart and Huntrix forming. I'm certain Celine is a badass, but how on earth was she keeping the demons at bay with just her? Best case scenario, maybe the third Sunlight Sister separated herself from Celine but still fought demons, with them working together if they ran into each other, but that's not training together, and the third Sunlight Sister, if she's even alive, didn't seem interested in helping train and raise the next generation of Hunters, even though that included her late friend's daughter, they don't seem to be a girl group/band anymore--and as awful as it sounds, one member of a girl group dying would probably cause their popularity to drop, especially if the two members didn't work together anymore.

Celine probably started taking Rumi, Mira, and Zoey on missions with her when they were in their mid-teens or so, but obviously, young child Rumi wasn't helping Celine kill demons, so....how in the world was one, MAYBE two, best case scenario, solo, mourning Hunters keeping Gwi-Ma in check? Even if Celine is trying to bury her emotions, that seems like a recipe for a destroyed or severely weakened Honmoon, especially if there are no Hunter girl group powering the world with their combined song. And yet Jinu's Lament seems to imply that that Gwi-Ma has steadily been growing weaker in the 400ish years that Hunters formed. No one seems to mention that Gwi-Ma and his demons had a huge surge of power and success in the late 90s/early 2000s between no Sunlight Sisters and no Huntrix.

I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on this, because as much as I like Celine and tend to defend her, fighting entire legions of demons by herself seems pretty much impossible. Though it would explain her gray hair, and she would still do it despite the pretty much impossible odds stacked against her, because who else would?

I feel like I never see people talk about Mi-yeong and Rumi in the context of them both being alive at the same time which is fair to people who assume that Mi died during childbirth BUT! What if there was some time between Rumi's birth and Mi-yeong's death? Enough time for them to bond and therefore when Mi dies, baby Rumi (who doesn't have any conscious awareness that her mother is dead because, baby) cries because her mother isn't there. What if Celine can't stop Rumi crying and can only hold her while Celine is reeling from Mi death herself?
