So, ranking all of Daisy Johnson’s love interests (canon/fanon), from best to worst:

1) Lincoln Campbell: actual boyfriend, amazing human being, cared for Daisy, liked by her friends and family, a doctor, and sacrificed himself for her (even got out an “I love you” before he died). Gold standard of Daisy love interests.

2) Daniel Sousa: good man, well-known for being respectful of women due to his interactions with Peggy, already bonded to Daisy. Could potentially be a great boyfriend but him being out of place in the timeline might be an issue (although it’s certainly not an issue with Deke, so what do I know). 

3) Robbie Reyes: cool badass, also a superhero, family man who takes care of his disabled brother, has a car so he can drive her around, sensitive and understanding. However, too committed to his job of being the Ghost Rider. 

4) Deke Shaw: he likes her but the same can’t be said vice versa. He means well but he’s too immature and kinda creepy with his crush on Daisy.

5) Miles Lydon: actual boyfriend but terrible person, became irrelevant after one episode

6) Grant Ward: could’ve been good for her but turned out to be a fascist prick who killed people for fun

After this episode,I was so welled up.For me,I used to adore ward,but after his betrayals,I just dare not trust him anymore.Also,I'm a static quake fan and I'm anti nazi ward and skye.However,seeing this good ward in the FW AU,I think not only daisy,but I myself also understand ward more.And yeah,daisy's three exes all did have magnificent influence on her. For miles,he taught her to hack so that immature skye could save the world in her own way.He gave her the skill to do good when she had nothing.But their relationship was more like just for casual sexes. For ward,like it or not,he had the greatest impact on skye.In the first half of S1,he and coulson were two people skye admired most,although later may became her life model.And to be honest,ward was definitely her largest motivation to become a better field agent in S1&first half of S2.No need to doubt ward's feelings for skye,after all he did never really lie to her.Skye's was a little complicated,she used to adore him that much so she only dare deny her old feelings in case being hurt or manipulated again.Even shared a connection with hive,the understanding was forced,so she wouldn't totally understand unless she exclude any personal prejudice.I'm glad FW give us the opportunity to see the skyeward she deserves and the redeemed ward we tried so hard to get.So the talk between the two of them might be the most beautiful closure we could get.This reason,unlike the majority,I think ward will be better never brought back to real life.Wish he had his chance with FW skye. For Lincoln,he was my sore point frankly.She wasn't still naive when she met lincoln for the first time.Nobody should deny lincoln was a fine young man.Their time at afterlife was one of the few skye could genuinely smile after her transformation.I believe that's when they both flipped.Lincoln played an important part in her self recognition of her inhuman identity.I think her changing name was the symbol of moving on,so no wonder they started to date.Some might argue daisy was never that committed like lincoln.But she had other things,her team,greater good to distract her while she was all lincoln had.As a proof,she did cry asking why Lincoln hadn't come see her and whether she ruined them after she escaped from hive.Proud as daisy,she'd rather give up greater good just for lincoln to come back.At the end of S3,she also left her shield family like he asked just without him.And all the implications in S4 as well as daisy's trauma,lincoln was definitely the man daisy loved.I just wish,to some extent,daisy got to say a proper goodbye to lincoln and complete the unsaid i love you. From that innocent hacker,to the seasoned agent today,daisy been through and lost too much.The writer did a great job create this wonderful woman,I just wish she could get her happy ending at last single or not.Again,the cast and writers are both inhuman.Please renew AoS,we need a S5！
