Billy Batson becomes the Champion of Magic right around the time the Trenchcoat Brigade decides it's time to have a chat with Timothy Hunter.... so Timothy goes on an utterly wild trip through space, time, and the history of magic only to be dropped off into the care of perhaps the goofiest looking guy he's ever seen.

Timothy, coughing a bit: Okay... that was kind of awful.

John, clapping his back: Don't worry, kiddo. The worst is yet to come. *grabs the boys shoulders and spins him to face Captain Marvel* The blind will now lead the blind.

Captain, waving nervously cuz he literally only got this job last week and he still hasn't fully figured out his new powers and Constantine, Mister E, Dr Occult, and Phantom Stranger are all relying on him to give Timothy a taste of what its like being a child saddled with magical responsibility: Uh... hello...

Timothy, waving back: Hullo...?

Time is all wibbly wobbly with magic, but after the equivalent of an hour or so, Timothy returns to the Trenchcoat Brigade with Billy (as Billy) with even more questions cuz unlike all the other people who say their lives were ruined by magic, Billy, a boy younger than Timothy himself, claims magic is simply his destiny and it gives him purpose in life.

Timothy, whos still mulling over the fact that the giant magic dude he met is also a little 10 year old boy: So... magic is pretty bad for living?

Billy, say on the edge of the Rock of Eternity: I dunno. I didnt really ask for magic... neither did you, but I like helping. Magics lets me help peope.

Timothy, legs swining as they peer out beyond infinity: I guess that makes sense...
