I will be watching Audrey’s potential with great interest.

Audrey Bourgeois, the matriarch of the Bourgeois household, has always been rather one note. She’s Chloe’s and Zoe’s neglectful tyrant of a mother and Andre’s demanding wife, and not much more is explored with her and her backstory with the Agrestes and Graham de Vanilys beyond the fact they knew each other before they had their fame.

The show accidentally created more lore for her with the existence of Zoe, a half sibling to Chloe only a year under her. This implies she eloped or had some kind of fling with a “Mr. Lee” of some variety while off on a business trip that isn’t the one where she left her family in Paris for nearly a decade. We can get the idea he was wealthy himself due to Zoe noting going to lavish parties like the Diamond Dance before and not wanting to be involved.

The most pressing part of all this is that her involvement with Mr. Lee is an affair, a rather blatant one at that. Despite their distance, Andre and Audrey were still married over the time she’d been gone from her family’s life, and yet the show pays no attention to the fact Zoe is Audrey’s kid besides to aid in her tale of suppressing herself and her persecution from her family (literally only Chloe). I’d go as far to say Audrey’s lack of involvement in Zoe’s development as a character is an inditement of her set up, but that’s getting on a tangent.

She’s had some kind of teasing to have an interest in the miraculous in the episode “Feast” where we see her reaction to the miraculous temple being restored, but other than that she’s had little plot relevance to the hero plot line and seems completely ignorant to the grand scheme of the plot. That was until season 6 put that into question.

Noe, in spite of her only appearing at the end, has sprung a well of potential routes for Audrey going forward. Noe Luxus is significant in that he’s Audrey’s oldest child, and with him, like Zoe, we get the picture that she had a husband before even Anaximander Bourgeois. Like Mr. Lee, Mr Luxus has not appeared on the show, though his absence seems more significant as his son is going to become a “Kingdom” conspiracy council member replacing Gabriel’s position as “The King of Luxury”. Audrey’s link to him now wraps her up in the Kingdom and raises many many questions. Did she know Gabriel was hawkmoth? Was Style Queen and her other akumas a set up she knew about? How did she feel about Gabriel partnering with Tomoe over her?

Not only is she now tied to the superhero plot line, but she’s also given new mystery over the advent of her family before the Bourgeoises coming into frame. What happened with her first family for her to leave? Is Mr. Luxus’s absence a driving factor of this? What does this mean for why she abandoned Anaximander and Chloe? I am waiting with baited breath for what she’ll do from season 7 onwards as her season 6 roles seem to be done with the exception of the heavily theorized “S6 Chloe episode”.

These are a good amount of my thoughts, but now I’d like to here your’s. What do you think of Audrey and her potential for character expansion?

Out of all Chloe’s family members, Andre, Audrey, and Noe, which one is the most caring? I’m not mentioning Zoe, not necessarily because she’s the worst, but because I think we've seen enough of her in Season 6 to reasonably conclude she’s cut off ties with Chloe and isn’t working to make things change.

Unfortunately, this is a stupidly hard question to answer. Audrey is no doubt last place, but Andre and Noe are both caring to the extent it resembles or benefits themselves nine times out of ten.

I’d have to say Andre by a slim margin. His care for Zoe at the very least seems sincere, so he wins out over a character who has only had… Two appearances. Amazing score.

So I had a dream about Miraculous Ladybug. And it felt really really real okay, let me tell you.

So mind you I was watching ATLA for the first time last night so if you see some similar themes, that’s why.

So it starts off with Gabriel, Audrey and Chloe. Like the show starts with them and honestly it feels like they’re the main protags than Marinette and Adrien.

Gabriel is less of a prick but a bit more neglectful with Adrien. His friendship with Audrey stems from them both growing up as Miraculous weilders and Audrey passed hers down to Chloé as the Queen Bee.

The thing is, they kissed the Queen Bee clip due to Master Fu taking it back and after Emily’s disappearance, Gabriel also misplaced the peacock Penant as well. Also because Master Fu took it. Think it was an unsaid battle.

So Gabriel is becoming Hawkmoth to save his wife and give Chloé back her clip back but first they gotta get the Ladybug and Chat Noir earrings and ring as usual.

So the three are teaming up to figure out who on earth is Ladybug and Chat Noir and eventually Tomoe gets in on it too because she wants a Miraculous if her own when they grab em and the A plots of the show are centered mainly around them which sounds boring but In my dream it actually worked out really well because they bounced off of one another greatly.

Meanwhile, Marinette and Adrien figures out one another’s identities from the get go. They end up dating between season one and two and Gabriel is Suspect™️ because he sees those black earrings and ring so he gets Nathalie to kinda peep at Marinette sometimes.

Luckily Marinette is such a clutz on the regular that Nathalie says it’s a dead end. And since Gabriel cares but not really with Adrien, he pushes the thought back that his son will never fight him. But Chloé is watchful of them both since she’s being used as a spy and not Lila. But she’s worse at her job, especially when Ladybug starts giving her the clip willingly.

And it’s when she does and puts trust on her when Chloé slowly stops working with Gabe and Audrey and sides with Ladybug. Boom, Audrey and Gabe is pissed and disowns her and Chloé is like bruh but ends up becoming redeemed. Mind you in this dream, she’s definitely a worse person because she was working with a legitimate terrorist but you know.

Mind you he isn’t stupid. He’s akumatized her and threatened her a lot of times but he couldn’t do much more than that since she’s the mayors daughter.

Around season 3, Chloé flags down both Ladybug and Chat Noir and tells them she knows who Hawkmoth is and basically how she used to work with him to get on her mothers good side. Ofc Ladybug and Chat Noir are disgusted but they still let her speak and she tells them. Cue Chat Noir break down and Chloé realizing what’s up when she sees him panicking. I feel like this is when he redemption solidifies because she sees how much he’s really hurt his son and yadda yadda and since she knows

Oh Lila eventually gets in on this too and realizing Marinette and Adrien are like really close, she puts the class against both her AND Adrien. It would’ve been just Marinette but Adrien grows more of a backbone from dating Marinette for so long that he stands up for himself and her more so she @ him more as well. Shes all in all is a more terrible terrible person in this au but disguises it even better. And I think in this AU, both her and Adrien gets akumatized together too and Chloé takes their Miraculous before they transform. Since at this time she would be fully redeemed. And let me tell you, Prince and Princess Justice... theyre fucking powerful. Like they’ll have a 3 part episode just to themselves okay, since Chloé has to find a ladybug and and Chat Noir real quick.

The first episode of them would be a build up and at the end is when they go stupid aah go crazy ahh and get akumatized and the second episode is when they’re fighting them and the third episode is when the ladybug and chat noir turns prince and princess justice against Hawkmoth .

It was a lot!! It was a lot uh, wow. Maybe I would make this into a fan fiction one day but probably not hakejs any ideas?
