What’s going to happen to Nathalie?

I’ve already explained by thoughts about Nathalie after what happened in “Evolution” when I did my analysis for the released episode (here) but I’ll go a little more in depth in this post. Ever since Nathalie finally came to the realization that Gabriel had prioritized his grudge over Ladybug and Cat Noir rather than save his wife with the bunny miraculous, the fans were relieved in knowing that at least Nathalie was able to realize that Gabriel had gone crazy and was now far from the man she once knew. 

When Nathalie decided to speak out and tell Gabriel that he did not deserve her help, her words lead many of us to believe that there was a possibility that Nathalie was going to leave him for good, but after the hype died down, a lot of fans remembered that Gabriel is not the only person in her life. Nathalie cared deeply enough about Emelie (and Gabriel at the time) to follow Gabriel’s plans when he first became Hawkmoth and she cares about Adrien just as much to the point of being willing to fight off three akumatized villains without any powers (episode “Felix”).

 But since Nathalie has realized Gabriel is loosing his mind when he put his obsession of defeating the heroes over his own family, of course she’s not just going to leave Adrien and Emelie with him, its become to dangerous, especially now that she knows Gabriel has grown to powerful. But what exactly is Nathalie planning to do now if she decides to stay at the Agreste Mansion? well, just like I said in my “Evolution” episode Analysis, Nathalie might not have any other choice but to continue helping Gabriel, but Nathalie is no fool, she’s smart and if she plans to stay by her good senses in all of this and not go back on her realization of Gabriel in “Evolution”, then she might set some limits to how much she can help him and how much she is willing to let him get away with. Nathalie is the only person who has stuck by Gabriels side ever since he took on his villain identity, but because she has people like Adrien and Emelie to worry about, Nathalie may begin a process where she now has to create some sort of backup plan should Gabriel go totally off the deep end and do something really crazy that could endanger everyone she cares about. The only thing that we all have to worry about now is what Gabriel will plan to do to Nathalie if he ever decides she cant be trusted anymore. Nathalie has always been a good fighter without a miraculous, but even she cant stand a chance against Gabriel if he ever decides to use his 15 miraculous against her.
