Apology Accepted
Pairings: Holt Hyde x gender neutral witch reader, Jackson Jekyll x gender neutral witch reader
Summary: when you and Holt get into a fight, Jackson takes over to help apologize
Content warning(s): mentions of a fight, fluffy ending as requested :3
××
You loved both of your boyfriends, but sometimes Holt could be a bit much. Take for example earlier that day. You'd been trying to practice some spells for homework but kept getting distracted because of how loud his music was.
Holt got upset when you asked him to turn it down, and it escalated into a fight pretty quickly. You grabbed your stuff and left, deciding to finish your work somewhere else. Part of you wanted to go back and apologize, but your pride wouldn't let you, especially when it was technically his fault.
"Hey," Jackson's soft voice called out as he hesitantly approached you. "I just wanted to come and apologize. I- I know it wasn't my fault, technically, but I still feel really bad."
A faint smile formed on your face at his attempted apology. "It's fine. I'm not that upset, I just needed to get some air. I forgive you, both of you, so don't worry."
It was as if a weight had been lifted from Jackson's shoulders. Sure, he wasn't the one who caused you to be upset, but he still couldn't help but feel just a tad bit guilty for it happening. "Good, I'm glad to hear it. Do- do you want to hang out again, maybe?"
You let out a quiet chuckle at his bashful nature. No matter how long you'd been together, he still always got so nervous around you. "Absolutely. I'd love nothing more."
17. holding the other’s chin up, for Mavasha and Quinn? 🥺💜
I had to draw and write for this one! These two are so cute 🥺
Thanks for sending an ask! I hope you like it! 💛
Malavai had been wandering their home aimlessly for hours. The clicking of his shoes echoed and their 2V-R8 unit watched him pace. He went downstairs, to the landing pad, back up, to the bedroom to see his child still sleeping soundly, then start over. If it were possible he was sure there would be a sizable groove in the floor marking his pattern, worn away by his walking.
"Master Quinn, might I suggest you wait in your office for the lady to get home?" The droid spoke up at last. This briefly stopped the officer and he looked at 2V with worried brows and a frown. "She has been gone for far longer than I calculated. Her and that apprentice of hers should have been able to clear that location within three hours!" Malavai argued. "With the hyperspace travel time they should have arrived back here exactly five hours and twenty-seven minutes ago!" With that said, the pacing continued.
He normally didn't worry this much. Mavasha was the strongest sith he knew. She was the emperor's wrath. But she was also carrying their second child. She shouldn't have even gone out with Hisk'ash and Vette to do that job.
The man's frustrated thoughts came to an end when he heard the front door slide open and the sound of Vettes excited yammering filling the house.
"-and then you struck that guy down! You two are amazing!" She finished her story as Malavai met them at the entryway. The twi'leks mood turned slightly more sour upon seeing the officer, but she feigned a smile anyway. "Oh, hey Quinn. Where's my godbaby?"
"She's down for her nap in her room" he frowned, then he watched as she got on her toes to give the Cathar apprentice beside her a kiss and run off to see young Yavasa.
"Darling, you should have seen how well Hisk'ash did today." Mavasha boasted excitedly. The tall male blushed under his dark fur.
"You give me too much credit, Master." He replied with a slight bow of his head.
"Oh hush. You know I only give credit where it's due. Now off with you, go clean up while I see to my husband." The woman waved her hand dismissively. The cathar fully bowed in respect, then left to do as she said. "Now, you look frazzled, my love. Whats the matter?"
Malavai was beside himself. How was it not obvious? "What's the matter?- Mavasha, I have been worried sick! Not a single call and you were gone-" he looked at the time quickly before continuing his rant, "five ours and thirty-two minute longer than expected-"
His wife raised a brow at him. "I dont recall you being this... let's say worried... before" she replied.
The officer's blue eyes shifted and he let out a heavy sigh of irritation. He knew what she was thinking. "I am not being possessive, nor am I meaning to control you, my lord... but" another sigh, this time more deflated than heated. "You announced your pregnancy with our next child nearing a month ago. You should be home, out of danger. We cannot risk this. Early as it may be you are bound to start losing energy... and it's taken so long for us to produce just one child much less two... I don't want to risk anything..." his balled fists relaxed as his frustration dissolved back into worry. "And if you have a bout of exhaustion from the pregnancy... as capable as Lord Hisk'ash may be, I don't trust him to hold his own against your enemies. I don't want to lose you either."
Mavasha watched her husband release all of his feelings with a rising sensation of guilt, a rare feeling for her. It wasn't often when Malavai admitted his feelings or his wife's mortality. He had been through enough with her to know she usually beat impossible odds, so his worries were typically unfounded, but this time she really hadn't been thinking. She gently reached out and caressed Malavai's jaw.
"My sweet, passionate husband..." she began and lifted his chin with a tender touch so his eyes looked into hers. "I apologize for worrying you.. We got caught up with a request made by a fellow sith while we were planetside. I should have called you."
"Or at least have taken me instead of the twi'lek. She could have watched Yavasa for a few hours." Malavai added. "I just don't want something to happen to you and our unborn child without me there to at least try and protect you. I can calculate the odds, be prepared for fatigue, make sure you're getting what you need. I know this is your duty as not only a sith, but the Emperor's Wrath. So I cannot, and will not, stop you from doing it, but I can at least help you be safe."
The torguta nodded. "You're absolutely right, my heart. Next time I am needed I will bring you, that's a promise." She assured him and leaned down to press their foreheads together. "Now, what can I do to make up for the stress and panic I've caused you?"
He was silent, though she could sense his emotions in the force. Waves of anxiety, relief, frustration, and concern crashing into each other. Instead of answering her right away, he slid his arms around her and pulled her close. "I'm just thankful my family is safe another day." Came his response at last.
Mavasha smiled softly and smoothed his hair. "And we will be for many days more. I swear that to you." She mumbled. "I love you Malavai. And next time I agree to something that would be dangerous to myself and our baby, you have permission to speak, Captain."
A small scoff of a chuckle came from the shorter male and he looked up at her. "Even if I didn't have permission, I think I would tell you anyway. Not as your Captain, but as your husband." He claimed. "But... Thank you, my love, for hearing me out. Even if I didn't give you much of a choice."
"You know I value your wisdom, Malavai, no matter the subject." Mavasha purred before meeting him for a soft kiss.
He couldn't help the smile her statement caused. She always knew how to calm his nerves and ease his worries. Once they parted the two followed his pacing pattern to check on their daughter with Mavasha's arm linked to his own. Safe and sound.
Summary: Things don't just go back to normal after the habitat
Pairing(s): Platonic Nat and Trevor, Familial Nat and Trencil
Ao3
“Hey Trevor?”
“Yea?” He said, keeping his eyes focused on the screen. Nat paused the game they were playing without warning.
Trevor stopped and looked over at her. She was looking down at the ground. Maybe she felt awkward having him over? Cause he used to like her? Or maybe she didn’t feel comfortable having a werewolf in hers, a vampires, house. They were supposed to be rivals, not friends. Yes, that must be it.
She sighed, as if she could hear his thoughts. “Do you ever just like,” her face twisted in disgust, or confusion, he couldn’t tell. Neither could she. “Do you ever feel like sometimes the things that happened at the habitat were useless?”
He blinked. “Well duh. What was the point of even having us there? Our teeth?” He let out a small sarcastic laugh.
“No- that’s not what I meant!” Nat leaned back against the side of her bed, running a hand through her hair in frustration. “Like, we all had at least one problem right? And they were all fixed right? Do you ever feel like it never actually got fixed?”
“Uhm.. not really. I’m pretty satisfied knowing that your dad is a vampire.”
Nat let out a small breathy laugh, but the smile faded quickly.
“Sometimes… no, alot of the time I still catch myself calling him lame just to be an ass. I get annoyed with myself. Cause it’s supposed to be better right? But I just- UGH” She threw the game controller across the floor and curled her legs into her chest. “It’s hard letting him know that I still love him after so long.”
Trevor just sat there, feeling sort of helpless in the situation.
He stood up and grabbed a pencil and paper from her desk. He sat down in front of her and forced her to look up from the ground. The pencil and paper were shoved at her, and she stared at them for a few seconds, confused.
“You’re going to write him a letter telling him how you feel.” Travis huffed.
“No that’s lame.”
“Oh come on!” He said, slightly desperate. “You gotta do something! Draw him a picture, make him an origami flower for all I care! You just gotta tell him something.”
After a few seconds of Nat looking up between Travis and down at the paper, she scribbled something down quickly and then stood up, tucking the paper into a drawer before he could get a look at it.
“Okay but you’re gonna tell me what you wrote eventually.”
“No im not”
-
The next day once Travis had gone home, Nat walked into the kitchen in the morning before Trencil left for work.
He was in the kitchen making food, or at the very least trying to. Nat sneaked up to his side without him noticing and set the paper on the table. By the time he realized it was there and turned around Nat was out the door.
He sighed and picked up the paper, turning it over to see what was on it.
So basically Apple x a Darling Charming variant lolol
Apple White x fem knight reader headcanons
Content warning(s): brief mention of injuries
She met you at a jousting match at the school. At first, Apple didn't realize you weren't a guy due to the helmet you were wearing, so imagine her surprise when you shed that layer of your armor to reveal you were, in fact, a girl
If anything it just made her fall for you even harder. In my opinion, Apple is a deeply closeted sapphic individual, so I think if she were to date a girl who had more masculine qualities it would make her feel less guilty for not being straight
Prepare to be showed off to literally everyone, including friends, fellow students, even teachers. She gushes about you all the time, and almost always brings up the fact that you're a knight on top of being her girlfriend
One of her favorite things to do is watch you train. She'll always bring you water bottles and snacks for whenever you take a break, wanting to make sure you're staying hydrated and such
Absolutely loves when you pick her up like it's nothing, especially if it's bridal style. She likes to affectionately refer to you as her hero and knight in shining armor
Will blush each and every single time you flirt with or compliment her without a doubt. It could be something as simple as "you look really pretty today" and suddenly she's a flushed, giddy mess
If you ever get injured during training or a quest then she is right there to help patch you up. After all, it's her job as your princess to take care of you when you get hurt, just like it's your job to protect from whatever harm that may come her way
She was a bit worried to introduce you to her parents and the rest of her family because you're not a boy, but they were surprisingly accepting, possibly due to the fact that you're a knight and most likely have some sort of royal heritage. Even if you don't, Apple will love you either way. Despite being a stickler for rules, she knows that she wants to be able to follow her destiny with you by her side
Content warning(s): mentions of Hell (as in the location), mentions of drinking/allusions to alcoholism, brief references to Angel's job as a porn star, some crude humor, mentions of Valentino (ew) and allusions of abuse from him to Angel
Okay first of all I'm going to be perfectly clear when I say this: Angel is going to flirt with you when you first meet regardless of what you look like. If you don't outwardly reject his advances he won't stop completely, but he will tone it down some if you make it clear you're not interested in a one night stand
At some point he ends up spilling a bit more about his life than he usually would, probably having come back from a long shift working for Valentino and downing one too many cocktails before unloading all of his problems onto you. He wakes up the next morning tucked safely in his bed with Fat Nuggets by his side, having fallen asleep crying in your lap the night before
He hastily tries to find you so he can figure out what it is he said, but you merely waved it off. After all, everyone needs to vent every once in a while, right? And if he doesn't remember what he talked about, then you don't either (wink wink)
Relieved that you won't go around spilling all of his secrets, he ends up growing closer to you since you now know more about him than he ever planned on sharing, your close friendship eventually growing into a relationship that's even closer
He can and will call you sugar tits if you're okay with it I'm so sorry 😭 he'll stop if it genuinely makes you uncomfortable but if not then that's his go to nickname for you, even if you've had top surgery
Speaking of which, he'll definitely help you pay for any sort of surgeries you may want or if you plan on going on T (or whatever Hell's equivalent of that is, anyway), since he probably has at least some money set aside from all the pornos he makes
Oh and he will never let you in the studio with him btw. It's nothing against you, of course, as he loves and adores you...but that's precisely why he wants you to stay away. Valentino was able to sink his teeth into him already, and he doesn't want the same thing to end up happening to you
Anything else about his life you're more than welcome to be a part of, from where he stays at the hotel to when he goes out partying with Cherri Bomb. He actually appreciates it when you scold him from having too much to drink, because he knows you genuinely care about him and don't want to see him getting hurt
Other than Cherri Bomb, you're one of the only people he trusts. You're his safe space, someone who he feels comfortable crying in front of and leaving Fat Nuggets with in case he has to be gone for a while. Out of everyone in Hell, you're the demon who seems to care about him the most, and he will forever love you for that <3
Ahhh my very first Toralei request!! I was very excited to see this in my askbox 🥰
Toralei Stripe x nerdy reader headcanons (gender neutral)
Content warning(s): Toralei's kind of mean :( but she makes up for it i promise
Her first interaction with you was a prank she pulled with Meowlody and Purrsephone where they caused you to fall over and drop the stack of books you were carrying on the ground. While the three of them were laughing, she noticed that you were actually kind of cute
That didn't mean she stopped pranking you, that just meant that her pranks became a lot less mean and a lot more harmless, like taking your last piece of gum or hiding all of your pens at the back of your locker. Eventually she got tired of the game of cat and mouse (both literally and figuratively) and decided to finally just ask you out
Her favorite nicknames for you are nerd, dork, and geek, but nerd is the one she uses the most. In fact, she probably uses it more than your actual name, if I'm being completely honest
Toralei is very protective over you. Yes, she may tease you for all the reading you do and the subjects you're interested in, but that's because she's your girlfriend. No one else is allowed to make fun of you for being a nerd other than her
She ends up feeling really bad if anything she says or does to be playfully mean ends up actually hurting your feelings, because that's never her intent. The most she expects as a reaction from you is flushed cheeks or an eye roll, not tear filled eyes and stuttering of breath
The next day you'll find a gift in your locker that's perfectly tailored to you and your interests, whether that be a new video game or the latest book in a series you've been reading. A note is left by it that simply says "i love you, nerd"
Toralei's the only one who ever calls you that (plus she's the only one you know who's smart enough to pick the lock on your locker door) so you knew right away it was her, even if she denies it and swears up and down she has no clue how it got there
force reader was kind of treated like Catra with Shadow Weaver. Although Shadow Weaver just hated the reader. Catra is kind of confused when she hears how badly reader was treated.
Like, what? You somehow have more trauma then me?
Reader just has lots of scars on her arms and back because of how much Shadow Weaver beat her
You dont have to do this if your not comfortable! Have a nice day :]
No worries, I feel completely comfortable with writing something like this! You have a nice day too ♡♡
Hurt
Pairing: Catra x fem force captain reader
Summary: you and Catra bond over the horrible ways Shadow Weaver treated you both
Content warning(s): childhood trauma, mentions of physical and verbal abuse, talk of scars from said abuse, please don't read if this will trigger you in any way
××
Ever since you were young, Shadow Weaver used and treated you like her own personal punching bag. Whether she was upset over a defeat for the Horde, struggling with her powers, or having to deal with Hordak's criticism, she always turned to you to be the one she could take it out on.
Although it happened for so long, you never told anyone about your abuse. You weren't really close with anybody in the Horde, and you also didn't see the point in it. I mean, it's not like anybody could do much to help.
As a force captain, you often met up with the other force captains to train together. That's where you first met Adora when she used to belong to the Horde, and that's also where you met Catra.
You'd heard a lot about her from the short time Adora had been a force captain, but she was much more intimidating than you expected her to be. You would soon find she was also just as fragile.
The two of you trained together often, but you didn't usually change together in the locker rooms because you didn't know each other that well. One day while you were changing shirts, Catra walked in and saw some of the scars you had on your back from Shadow Weaver's beatings.
"Woah, what happened to you?" She blurted out, not really one who cared for others feelings all that much. "Was it one of the princesses that did it?"
You sighed, knowing she was bound to find out sooner or later. As lying would only make things worse, you stuck with telling the truth. "Uh, no. They were from Shadow Weaver."
Catra's ears immediately flattened back against her head at the mention of her mentor's name. "Shadow Weaver did that to you? But... Why?"
Shrugging, you put your dirty clothes back in your locker and shut it. "Dunno. I guess she figured it'd be easiest to take her rage out on a little kid who couldn't fight back." You leaned up against the locker, shoving your hands in your pockets. "She doesn't do it anymore, though. I think ever since I became a force captain she sort of became scared of me."
Catra scoffed, rolling her eyes some. "Wow, you made Shadow Weaver of all people scared of you? I must admit, that's pretty impressive." She crossed her arms, her gaze falling to the floor before she spoke up again in a much smaller voice. "She hurt me, too. It was mostly verbal, but it didn't hurt any less."
You nodded at her words, your eyes softening as you watched her. "Yeah, I get that." It's quiet for a moment before you suddenly say, "Hey, do you wanna... I don't know, maybe hang out some? Maybe we can talk about some plans for our next attack against Bright Moon."
The corners of her lips quirked upwards as she looked back up, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Yeah, I've got nothing else going on. And you know what, maybe one day the two of us will be in charge, and we can get rid of Shadow Weaver for once and for good."
You smiled back as you walked with her towards the locker room door. "Yeah, maybe."
Author's note: these are very very short but I thought it was a cute idea regardless!
Sayori
As a barista:
Overly friendly, the kind of barista to accidentally spill coffee on you due to her excitement but gives you like a hundred napkins and a free cookie to make up for it
Doesn't always get your order right but due to her enthusiasm she never gets any (serious) complaints and has yet to be fired
As a customer:
Comes in at least once a day for a cookie, cupcake, or some other sort of sweet
Enjoys hanging around on the regular for the human interaction. She knows all the baristas by name and they all know her
Yuri
As a barista:
Shy but friendly, she always knows just what you want, even before you tell her
Might give you book references depending on what your regular is if she knows you like to read (I see her as being the type of person to be able to accurately guess people's reading preferences based on their usual)
As a customer:
Always orders the same thing: plain black coffee with two sugars, nothing else
Usually goes to the coffee shop as a quiet place to study or read. She sits at a table in the corner and tends to herself until she's done with her coffee, then she leaves
Natsuki
As a barista:
Aloof and the only one here to openly complain about her job, but she's also by far one of the best baristas out there too
All you have to do is give her a basic idea of what you want and she'll have it ready for you just like that
As a customer:
I love her but she's a tad bit insufferable in the sense that she'll order something and then complain about them getting it wrong (even if it's exactly what she wanted)
Probably sneaks in her own home baked goods because "hers just taste better"
Monika
As a barista:
Average as a barista, reasonably friendly and almost always gets your order right
Has been known to flirt with the customers before, but it's unclear whether she's being sincere about it or she's just trying to get them to come back
As a customer:
Very polite to the baristas, almost to an unsettling degree. She typically orders the same things but may change it up occasionally if it strikes her mood
Mostly only visits coffee shops for a pickup or if she plans on meeting someone there for something
