Resource Post: Writing Prompts
Often times, I like to use prompts both as a way to inspire new ideas and to get old ideas going again. What I like about them is that you don't have to use them literally. You can bend them to fit whatever inspo your looking to spark. I also enjoy the variety that you can find, from starters to dialogue to situational or single world prompts, I find that I can usually find what I need to get myself going.
Below is a collection of links from Tumblr and outside Tumblr that we hope can be useful in your personal writing and in the upcoming slumber party event. Also, feel free to add any links/pages you have bookmarked or use for reference in a reblog!
Happy writing and we'll see you February 5th for the first slumber party event!

Hello people of tumblr, I am once again approaching the masses as a humble novice seeking direction
It's not an issue for the genre(?) of a fic to be all over the place, right? Like things typically seem to be tagged with what genre/type of fic it is, but the one I'm working on right now?
Idk how I would tag it without including like a bunch of different things
It's slice of life, it's comedy (well it's supposed to be, we'll see how that goes lmao), it's hurt/comfort, it's angsty at times, there's hopefully going to be fluff, maybe even some smut who knows (idk yet I'm not confident about writing like that), possibly crack sprinkled here and there, there's definitely strong found family vibes going on but also multiple different ships happening (does that sound weird? It's not weird I promise), there will likely be references to horror/gore occasionally but nothing too major
So like... I don't know how to classify this
