Rudolph starter for @musesmansion
He could already tell that he wasn’t where he belonged. Now, Rudolph liked to think that he was pretty adept when it came to finding his way. His glowing nose, what once was a source of ruthless teasing as a fawn, helped him find his way many times before. This time, though, Rudolph didn’t have a clear idea of where he had wound up. All he knew was that the streets were busy, there were humans everywhere, and not a single elf or reindeer in sight.
Not a problem, really, Rudolph had thought at first. He’d just need to find someplace safe to stay while he tried to figure out how to get back home. The trouble presented itself in the form of the vehicles that seemed to roam the streets at will. Rudolph had gotten spooked enough to just approach a park blindly, only with luck on his side to help him avoid getting hit by a car or something.
...And he wound up going right toward what looked like a mass of black and white at first glance. As he skidded to a stop and landed in a dazed heap in the grass, though, Rudolph could pick up on the fact that it wasn’t a mass. No, it was a gathering of black and white dogs.
One in particular, a male wearing a red collar with a star of some sort attached, stood out enough to Rudolph. He looked older than the others. Maybe he could help.
“I know this is really sudden,” Rudolph said, “but I’m pretty sure I’m lost. You wouldn’t happen to know a way back to Christmas Town from... wherever we are, would you?”
