if these leaks are real mileven and byler are being set up as a literal romcom let me explain

I said if, if. if these are real. Mind you these leaks are coming from GA who’s not very good at subtext so take it with a grain of salt

1.) we have mileven well and alive. three waterfalls, local village, etc. Good, it seems the painting lie worked. and that’s exactly a good point: the painting lie exists. and if the relationship is working it’s because of the lie.

2.) we have byler closer than ever and will is still in love with mike and asking robin how can you tell that someone likes you. that’s interesting, why would insecure, self-sacrificing will ask that? what does he think? is it about mike?

3.) do you not see the romcom set up?

the girl helps the guy get back with his gf through breaking her own heart, stays in love with him, somehow they start spending more time together. she begins to question if he could have ever loved her but it’s too late the guy is with his girlfriend. but maybe the guy starts spending more time with girl and gets these strange feelings. but alas no, he loves his girlfriend because of this specific thing (a painting lie maybe). but then it gets to the point where the guy cannot hide his attraction for the other girl anymore but is trying to hold on to the relationship. Until wait, it was all a lie! Those aren’t the real feelings of his girlfriend, those are the other girl and then the guy realizes he actually has loved the other girl all along. romcom!!!

some of these leaks are silly but if they are real, episode 1 is setting up the painting to be a ticking bomb in the mileven/byler 2003 romcom.

What if Robert does tell Aaron what he has done and says he will admit to the police about planting the evidence, and maybe it is Aaron that suggests that they lie together? Because he doesn't want to lose Robert to prison again.

No but what if Aaron wakes up and john is saying Robert is in the bunker and if he doesn’t come with him Mack and Robbo will die (or threatens him with just Mack) and then Aaron finds a way to leave the hospital (or John takes him out in a wheelchair) and that’s when the villagers realise it’s not Robert but the other Sugden instead

It just now occurred to me that Turbo had to have learned the Konami code before the Roadblasters incident.

Remember there's a 10-year gap where he was in hiding, (sugar rush was plugged in the year 1997) so how could he get the code and the napkin while being in hiding?

The point I'm getting at is, why would he write it down? His game was still popular.

In the flashback, Felix said, "Back when the arcade first opened, Turbotime, was by far the most popular game."

So what motivation could he possibly have to write it down prior to the Roadblasters incident?

Edit: now that I think about it, he could've got the napkin as litter when he was in hiding and wrote it down when learning. (But I like my conspiracy I mean speculation better)

Another question is how did he get it? Did someone willingly tell him? Or did he just happen to overhear it and just grabbed the nearest napkin to write it down on?

Hypothetically, if he got it from someone else, who was it?

No video game character in their RIGHT MIND would give out that kind of information! They're too scared to go against the program/change code which will cause a game to get unplugged.

Am I just slow to realize this? (Ok maybe) Or am I onto something here?! (Probably)

I wonder if we get Nicki going mad, and Armand chopping off his hands to explain why Daniel's memory was erased. Maybe Armand had a vision of Daniel going mad, maybe he already was heading in that direction after 12 years.

Armand knows where that leads even if he did turn him. So, he released him instead.

I've been trying to figure out why Louis would want to give this interview to Daniel, and have come to the conclusion that, given how he's altered the way he describes his relationship with Lestat, he's doing it because he's fallen back in love with Lestat, and can't bear the thought of this interviewer thinking poorly of him. Y'all?
