do you think Bart ever told anyone about how Neutron pratcly raised him in the future. if not then i have a idea for that Bart gets age down idea. basicly the minute Bart sees Neutron he runs over to him cunfuseing everyone. one thing leads to other things and they find out about how close they were in the future. what do you think

I love it anon! We can’t have an aged-down Bart and not see some well-needed Bart and Neut content! I’ve always wanted to know more about what their relationship was - whether it was as you put it and they were close or whether they became allies later on as they worked together to try and fix things... neut was responsible for his grandfather's death and I can imagine preteen Bart not being able to see past that fact for a long time - until his ability to see the bigger picture and think more strategically develops - making him able to see neut as his ally - another victim of the reach - and not his enemy. In terms of this aged-down Bart au - I think the latter, more rocky relationship between the two would work better with the more angsty 10 yr old Bart version, while the idea of neut having practically raised him would work so well with the baby Bart version...

Also, this has now caused my brain to formulate this…

Something comes up that requires Ed to go to the MHYC, and he either has to take Bart because he's the one on bartwatch duty and can't leave him behind, or Bart just straight up won't leave his side and he gives up trying to make the kid stay with the others. Then at the center, eds telling Bart that he has to behave and not wander off whilst he deals with whatever it is he has to deal with - but then Bart spots neut and just runs straight towards him, wrapping his little arms around a very unsuspecting and suddenly alarmed neut, whos immediately like - Oh hey Ed -- why is this child hugging me? And ed nonchalantly is like - It's Bart… (y’know like that explains everything.) And then neut, even more confused, is like - Okay… why is Bart hugging me? And then ed, who's very tired at this point, is just like - I don't know, he keeps doing weird shit… hey, would you mind watching him for a bit? I got some stuff I need to take care of and it would be a huge help.

Neut: Errr… I guess? But I--

Ed: Great! Hey Bart, you wanna hang out with uncle neut for a bit?

(Bart nods)

Ed: Okay - but first, what's the rule?

Bart: Don't leave the building without you

Ed: That's right - here you go buddy (hands him a packet of chicken whizees). Thanks for this dude, I'll be as quick as I can - I promise

Neut: Don't worry about it - what are friends for, right?

Ed: Right… Oh and whatever you do - don't let him out of your sight

Neut: And how am I supposed to do that - he's a… (ed teleports out of the room) speedster? Great… (turning to Bart) So Bart, what do you wanna do?

Bart: Why aren't you old anymore?

Neut: … I could ask you the same thing kid

...Shenanigans ensue...
