~Stay patient and trust the journey~ Story time! This week along with some great flat work homework NewTrainer push Tux and myself to ride and add in a long line( 7 in a six). We worked on riding a deep distance and holding/doing nothing to get the smooth even strides. This type of work might seem as glamourous as jumping big fences or as exciting as sharp turns or cool grids. This type of work is a HUGE milestone though!! Thinking and adjusting in a line has never been easy for me. My anxiety has almost always won that battle until this last year with Tux!! This jump isn't big...not the biggest oxer or jump we've tackled but THIS jump represents a step in my progress where NewTrainer can now challenge me to think and ride in more in depth ways!
