Suda pushes face again with a book and pulls knees up.
Enoch reaches to take the book and inspect it.
[Enoch] “I will take my leave if you keep pushing me away.”
Suda stares. Of course, it's Moby Dick in Dutch.
[Enoch] “I've given you a library! You could be reading anything. Besides...when did you steal this back from me?”
[Suda] “While you were sleeping.”
[Mikah] “Enoch wins. I don't know what but he gave you a library!”
[Enoch] “Thank you, Mikah.”
[Suda] “He won me.”
Enoch makes a mark in the air. Enoch: 1, Rune: 0
Enoch pushes Suda's face away.
[The Doctor] “Maybe I should let more people visit the library. Except for the restricted section. In which case you might get killed. Or worse.”
[`Ru] “Restricted section? Is that where you keep the actual magic books?”
[The Doctor] “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
Enoch perks up at the talk of books...
[Enoch] “So where...is this restricted section, Doc?”
[Suda] “Where you won't go, little spider.”
[The Doctor] “Why would I share that?”
[`Ru] “Gimmee! I wanna be a science witch.”
[Enoch] “You clearly don't know my determination.” ♥
[Enoch] “Mm, I'm with Ru, give us the location of said books.”
[Suda] “I know your determination. You kept me here.”
[The Doctor] “Science Witch yes? OH! What level or type of science are we talking?”
Suda just watches the conversation, slowly taking his book back from Enoch.
Enoch lets the book be taken and shifts to rest his chin on Rune's shoulder.
[Enoch] “Did you find the message I left you?”
Suda clears his throat, pretending Enoch isn't resting on him. "Yes."
[Enoch] “Mijn Nederlands wordt beter.”
[The Doctor] “Who'se teaching you that, Enoch?”
Suda covers Enoch's mouth.
[The Doctor] “SUDA!”
Enoch is half tempted bite that hand but instead reaches up and gently tugs one of those dark strands.
Suda sighed and drops his hand. "Stil maar, Geluk."
[Enoch] “”And Doc, I'll have you know, I've had to teach myself.”
[The Doctor] You do realize I'm going to start bothering you significantly more if my attention span allows for it, right, Enoch? And you just damned Suda, too.”
Suda slowly turns to look at Enoch. Look what you did.
[The Doctor] “Also, you two are adorable.”
[Mikah] “Doc’s good people.”
Enoch holds his hands up innocently.
[Enoch] “Listen, Doc is good people! He has two hearts, obviously a sign of a good person.”
[The Doctor] “Thank you. You understand Mikah says 'people', I'm not a person...because I'm far too many incarnations. I'm also not 'good'. I just do my inane behavior very well.”
[Suda] "Bees in the Umbra are blue. Doesn't make them gentle."
[Enoch] “Bees are generally docile, what have you done to make them upset?”
[Suda] "What do you think I eat on the other side?"
[Enoch] “Also, I want to see blue bees.”
[Suda] "You want to see the world."
Enoch ‘Won't say that 3x's faster.’
Enoch“Yes, but that's besides the point.”
Suda heard that thought and pushes Enoch's face. Pinches his chin gently. "Shut up."
Enoch didn't think he would hear that, but quickly snickers, now caught.
[The Doctor] “You want to see the world 3x's faster though?”
[Suda] "Don't encourage him."
Enoch's grin widens.
Enoch whispers in Doc's ear.
Enoch bumps Suda with his shoulder.
[Suda] ‘You're begging for a bite.’
[Enoch] ‘Yes, but that would be most improper here.’
Enoch hums innocently.
[Enoch] “Geluk, I don't think you've taught me that one yet.”
Suda stares at his book. It's suddenly so interesting again.
Enoch pushes the book down with a finger.
[Enoch] “Well?”
[Mikah] “Ok you two are adorable. I can't even.”
[The Doctor] “Right?”
Suda prepares to throw a book - not Moby Dick - at Mikah.
[Enoch] “Oi, we don't throw things at Mikah. I know friends are a new concept for you.”
Enoch snerks.
[Mikah] “Wait. Free book!?”
[Enoch] “Mikah...don't encourage him.”
[Czar Iconnu] “Ease up on the guy. He's just trying to give her a gift.”
Suda takes Enoch's hand, staring into his eyes as he brings it to his mouth, biting down.
[Mikah] “I was trynna get a free book.”
[Enoch] “Ow!”
[Enoch] “I was trying to have you avoid...ow....a concussion.”
Enoch thumps Suda on the forehead.
[Mikah] “Suda. Enoch is friend not food.”
Suda breathes slow and deep. He won't say... a word.
[Jander] “Oh I don't know. maybe with a little mustard...”
[Enoch] !
[Enoch] “No, no, we are not going to eat Enoch.”
[Jander] “Hey, didn't say I was going to.”
[Czar Iconnu] “There's an unspoken glizzy joke in there just waiting for all of you.”
[The Doctor] “Glizzy?”
[Mikah] “Hot Dog.”
[Czar Iconnu] “Urban dictionary it, Doc.”
[Czar Iconnu] “But in essence, yes. A hot dog.”
Enoch goes a bit red.
[Suda] "Kijk eens wat je gedaan hebt."
Czar Iconnu goes back to his book.
[`Ru] “Hehehehe. Dutch sounds funny.”
[Enoch] “I... I have done nothing if not been proper!”
Enoch silently agrees with Ru.
Suda tucks book under his arm and gets up. Nope. He's leaving.
[`Ru] “Does English sound funny to Dutch speakers?”
Enoch reaches up to catch the mage by the back of his shirt. Stay, please?
Suda sighs. How can he say no to that? But he will take himself over to the fireplace, tucking himself away.
Mikah offers Suda a blanket and a spot on her giant 10 person couch.
Suda is indeed ignoring Ru's question. And that couch. He's knees to chest with his book and the crackling fire to his left.
[Enoch] “How does one... get a couch so big?”
Enoch has a tiny one in his loft that seats two at most.
[Mikah] “Order it!”
[Enoch] “I wouldn't have a livingroom... at all.”
[Czar Iconnu] “And then once it arrives and it's assembled, have a spellcaster like myself cast Enlarge on it.”
[Suda] "His familiar could do that," he mutters under breath.
[Czar Iconnu] “When it comes to the Nexxus, understand that the furniture can always be bigger.”
[Enoch] “Mm, that makes sense.”
[Enoch] “That's true... I - well, technically, he's not my familiar, but still. Yes, he can also do this and help with my furniture.”
Enoch now has a piano in his room because of him.
[Suda] "What's holding him back from being yours?"
[Enoch] “I think it would be considered kidnapping? I believe that's frowned upon generally.”
[Suda] "Hardy har har."
Enoch stands up and takes Mikah's offered blanket and moves behind Suda to drape it over his shoulders before settling down next to him again.
[Mikah] “We stay stocked in all manner of drink.”
Suda stills until Enoch sits again. He leans a little of his weight against him.
[Enoch] “Hot chocolate or tea sounds divine right now...”
Enoch pulls some of the blanket over his shoulder too and looks at Suda.
Mikah would crawl out of her couch and returns with two mugs of hot cocoa, extra marshmallows and whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle!
Suda brings the book a little closer for Enoch to read along with him.
Enoch delightfully accepts this treat. Might only feed Suda the marshmallows though.
Suda chipmunks a marshmallow in his cheek, determined to finish a chapter before calling it a night. He pulls the blanket up high enough to conceal them, stealing a quick, chaste kiss from Enoch. "I'm going to bed."
[Mikah] “Dawww so cute!”
Enoch was thinking of doing something akin but is left staring smitten at the sailor. “I’m joining you.”
