Surprise!

Seulki’s friends come together to cheer her up

Seulki was feeling better after Yoongi forced her to bathe and was walking down the hallway when Namjoon stepped in front of her, blocking her path.  Seulki looked up, a small smile on her face.  Namjoon was relieved to see a little bit of light in her hazel eyes.  “No, no. Hoseok will kill me if I let you go in there now.  C’mon. Back to your room.”  He gently spun her around, pushing her towards her room. “I don’t get it.  First, you all want me to come out of my room and now you want me to stay in it.”  Namjoon rolled his eyes, but kissed the back of her head, pushing her in the room. “It’s so nice to hear your voice again.” He said while shutting the door. Seulki couldn’t help but let a smile take over her face.

She sat on her bed, bored.  Hyungwon wasn’t replying to any of her texts.  Neither was Nari or Harin.  She snorted, throwing her phone on her bed and laying down on her bed.  “You’re all such great friends.”  She was sulking again and sighed.  Angry at herself for still feeling this way when nothing even that serious happened.  She was lost in thought she didn’t hear Jungkook walk into the room, his doe eyes wide and then face falling in relief.  “You’re alive, okay.  That’s good.” Seulki rolled her eyes.  “Of course, I’m alive, pabo.  Just bored.”  Jungkook chuckled, ushering her off her bunk.  “C’mon.  We have a surprise for you.”

Seulki got off her bunk a little too fast, unable to contain her curiosity.  “You’re ridiculous.  One minute you’re all mopey and the next you’re jumping for a surprise.  Greed is not a good color for you.”  Seulki narrowed her eyes and elbowed him in the stomach.  “Shut up, Jeon Jungkook.”  Jungkook groaned, rubbing his stomach but covered her eyes.  “Just trust me and shut up.”  He said before she could say anything.  She sighed but allowed him to lead her.  When they entered what she assumed was the living room she thought she could smell pizza.  She swore she could hear whispering and squirmed under Jungkook’s hands.  “Hold still, S!”  He said, letting out a frustrated sigh.  “I don’t know why we do anything for you.”  She elbowed him in the stomach again and he uncovered her eyes, clutching his stomach.

“SURPRISE!” She jumped at the shouting, hazel eyes opening wide at all the people crowding their small living room.  Monsta X was there, all of them.  Nari and Harin were also there with a few of their members along with the rest of her own members.  She felt the hot tears coming to her eyes but didn’t let them fall.  “W-what’s all this?”  Her voice cracked.  Jimin stepped forward wrapping an arm around her.  “You seemed down, and we’ve known you long enough to know what exactly was going through your head.  We’re here to show you, you’re not alone.”  She smiled, letting a tear fall and Jimin squeezed her shoulder, pulling her closer. “T-thank you.  So much.”  She turned around, pulling Jimin into a tight hug.

She ran to Jin, jumping into his arms and he caught her.  “Thank you, oppa.”  She whispered and he smiled, squeezing her tighter.  “Anything for you, baby.”  She buried her face into his neck and the rest of BTS surrounded them in a hug. “Alright, alright,” Yoongi said, stepping away and smoothing out his shirt.  “Let’s cut this lovey dovey crap and have fun.”  Everyone laughed, dispersing to different areas.  Seulki went and greeted everyone, hugging everyone and thanking them.  She sat on the couch, relishing in the moment.  She had a smile plastered to her face and she was no longer beating herself up on things that could’ve happened but didn’t.  She felt the couch sink next to her and looked over to see Hyungwon.

“Feeling better?” He asked, handing her a drink and causally draping his arm on the back of the couch.  She smiled, nodding.  “Much. Thank you all so much, again.” She subtly scooted closer to him and he let his arm fall to rest on her shoulders.  “We were worried and then Namjoon called us and said they were putting all this together.  How could we say no?”  Seulki smiled, looking around at her members joking with their guests with fondness in her eyes.  “I’m truly blessed.  They’re the best.”  Hyungwon smiled, happy just to see Seulki smiling and talking.  Changkyun came and sat on the other side of Seulki, wrapping his arms around her as well.  She scrunched her nose up at the smell of alcohol.  “How much have you drank already, Kyun?”  He snorted, “not enough that’s for sure.”  Hyungwon laughed, shaking his head.

“So, tell me, what are you two?  It’s not just friends.  Anyone with eyes can see that.”  Changkyun pointed between the two.  Seulki stuttered, not really sure what to say and Hyungwon was in the same position. “C-close friends?”  She managed to get out.  “Y-yeah.  Close friends.  Yeah.” Hyungwon said and Seulki rolled her eyes at how obvious they were being.  But technically, he hadn’t asked her to be his girlfriend so she was just as lost as Changkyun.  “Seulki!” Nari said, running up and nudging herself between Changkyun and her, shooting Changkyun a glare.  “I’m so glad to see you up and about.”  She smiled brightly and Seulki smiled in relief, thankful for Nari.  

“Changkyun-ie,” Shownu said, walking up to the four.  “Enough of the drinks.”  He pulled the cup out of his hands and Changkyun protested.  “Hyung!”  Shownu didn’t say anything, turning and walking away with Changkyun on his heels. The trio laughed, watching the duo. “I’m going to see what San’s up too!” Nari winked, hugging Seulki and making her way towards San.  “Hey! Wanna go to the roof?”  Seulki asked, sitting up and meeting her hazel eyes with Hyungwon’s brown ones.  He nodded, following her.  “Are we even allowed up here?”  Hyungwon asked when the stepped out of the door.  Seulki shrugged, sitting down on the ground and staring up at the sunset. Hyungwon chuckled, sitting next to her and intertwining their fingers.

“Did I tell you that you look absolutely dazzling today?”  He said softly and Seulki blushed.  “And did I tell you how devishly handsome you look every time I see you?”  She winked and it was Hyungwon’s turn to blush.  “You obviously haven’t seen me just waking up yet.”  Seulki laughed, turning to meet his gaze.  “I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing that.”  Hyungwon stared at her, eyes wide with shock.  Seulki giggled, scooting into his side and rest her head on his shoulder.  

“The sunset is so pretty,” she sighed and Hyungwon hummed in agreement.  “Hey, S?”  Hyungwon said, feeling nervous.  Seulki sat up, meeting his hesitant gaze.  “What’s up?”  Hyungwon took a deep breath, closing his eyes.  When he opened them again he saw Seulki looking at him with slight worry buried in her eyes.  His gaze softened and filled with determination.  “I like you, a lot.  And I know there’s so much more that plays into this with our career choice and everything, but I don’t care.  I would love to have the honor of calling you my girlfriend.  If you want too, of course.”  He held his breath and watched as Seulki’s eyes widened and her face overcome by a large smile.  

“I think I would like to be called your girlfriend, too, Hyungwon.”  He let out his breath, smiling and gently pecking her lips.

“Oh, god, Jin-hyung is going to kill you.”  The new couple jumped at the sound of Taehyung’s voice.  “Tae!”  Seulki said, jumping up, trying to be angry at him for eavesdropping but her face was a furious shade of red.  “Hey,” Taehyung held his hands up in surrender, “I support it.  You need someone to tame you.”  He winked and Seulki lunged for him, chasing him all the way back down to the dorm.  Hyungwon strolled in a few minutes later.  “What happened?”  Namjoon asked and Hyungwon shrugged.

“No clue.”

A/N: This isn’t fully a reaction, more like how they would react though? If that makes sense... anyway! Hope you like it. I’d also like to thank you all for 300 followers. I’m so happy that I have this many followers, I really never expected it but here you all are! Welcome to my blog if you’re new and, enjoy the stay.

PS. I wrote this at 2am so I was tired and there’s probably a lot of mistakes. But I’m human, I make mistakes like everyone else.

Jin:

He would be very mad at the idea that even one of the other members like you, but all of them? He’d be jealous to the max. But he wouldn’t do anything about it. If maybe he was dating you first then the others fell in love, he’d fight for you with all his might, but with his love for the members he wouldn’t try. He’d step back and let them fight it out. But if you happen to show favouritism towards him, it’d be different. He would certainly try everything, knowing he has the upper hand he would sit next to you all the time, play games with you, go out with you whenever he had the chance. But mostly, he wouldn’t pressure you to ‘choose’, he’d ignore the fact the other members even liked you at all.

Yoongi:

He wouldn’t be too hurt by the fact that the other members have fallen for you, he’d be proud. “Of course, how can you not love them? They’re amazing.” He would remind them constantly that you love him, that it’s pointless to even try at all because you and him are soulmates. He would certainly try to stop them from doing anything at all that might make you question which member to go out with. But he wouldn’t do much, he wouldn’t be petty about it or cruel. He’d let fate decide while also reminding the members they don’t have a chance. If you did decide to choose someone, and it wasn’t him, he would be happy as long as you are, but he would avoid you two so he didn’t feel sick because of jealousy. If you decided to choose him, he’d be over the moon and would very slyly rub it in the others face but not in a mean and unbearable way, and very rarely. But if you chose no one and decided to be friends with them only, he’d flirt with you 90% of the time.

Namjoon:

He’d be more serious, logical and rational about it. He wouldn’t act on impulse as soon as he found out but he’d be a little angry, and jealous but would make sure not to show it. He’d try to work around it, ask the members to describe how they truly feel about you to really see if it’s what he fears, when he realises it is, he’d leave it all up to you, acting as he usual self around you, very sweet and caring, humble and trying to help you with anything you need but subconsciously does a bit more, hovering around you to show off in a way. He’d continuously ask the members if they still love you as time went on, hoping it’d change into just a friendly love so he could have a better chance. Eventually down the road, if you still haven’t chosen or have no desire to, he’d go overboard, spoiling you and reminding you of how great a person he is, but after a week of doing this he’d just sit back and accept the idea that it might never happen, despite him not really knowing the truth.

Hoseok:

He’d go into serious mode when he came to the realisation. He would ask every member, over and over again hoping they’d say ‘no, I’m not in love with her’ all in the hopes he would be the one to marry you one day. As he is an optimist and a bit of a dreamer, he’d certainly believe he’d have a high chance, which he would, he’s a great person. But he knows the other members are great too, that they all have qualities that many people love in a man, but he wouldn’t be discouraged! He’s the type to go all in or not at all so he’d treat you like you were his partner already. He’d do everything possible to win you, he’d spoil you with food, gifts, but the best part of all, he’d spoil you with all his love he can give. He knows one of his best points is him being him, it wins a lot of people over so he’d be himself. He wouldn’t pressure you, and he wouldn’t be cruel to the members, he’d actually encourage them. Believing they deserve as much a chance as he does, he’d give them tips or just be supportive and encouraging.

Jimin:

You know that scary angry Jimin? Yeah that one, he’d act like that towards the members. He doesn’t like sharing, mainly things he loves. So when he loves as great a person as you, he will do everything to keep you to himself, of course not restricting you from being friends or talking to others, but not letting it go beyond friends. He hates it when someone else flirts with you, but now the fact that it’s the members he’s mad, jealous but also confused. He wants what’s best for the members, they’re like family. He would give them false hope in a sense, encouraging them, being supportive and optimistic, then would swoop in when he had the opportunity and would do everything in his power to impress you. Giving you flowers, taking you on a long walk across the beach at night, treating you to your favourite dinner and desert, but mainly showing you his charms and his kindness. He believes the little things are what counts. If this failed, he’d go all in, in front of the members, stating as if it was a fact that you are officially his partner and they are to stop all feelings towards you other than platonic love.

Taehyung:

I think in the beginning he wouldn’t care. He’d have a tiny bit of insecurity, afraid that they might somehow take you away from him. But he’d be confident. He loves fully, he loves with his entire being and would make sure to show you that. But he’s serious about love, and wouldn’t want to be played around with. He’d sit you down and ask you if you love him the same way he loves you, and if you love the other members the same. He wouldn’t want to waste his time unless he knew there was a future. If you said no, or stated you can’t choose, he would be bummed out but he’d still try despite wanting to walk away in case he gets hurt. He would be very clingy, cute, and would mainly show the fun side as a way to not be too obvious. If you accepted and said you have mutual feelings, he’d literally jump up in excitement. It’d be like the best thing in the world had just happened to him and him alone. He would be very romantic with you, and fun and would remind you that he loves you each day. He also would be very honest with the members and would say with a dead serious expression to them during the ordeal of not knowing who you love. “I need you all to step away and stop trying.”

Jungkook:

He’s very competitive, but he’s also a sneaky little shit. He’d definitely treat it seriously, but would also make it a little fun, not just for you but for everyone. He’d be very jealous, and would feel his confidence drop even more. He’d step back in the beginning, fighting his want for you, but mainly his love so they could fight it out, as he feels he owes them but they deserve you more than he does. But it’d eventually become too much and he’d join in. He would be his usual self, acting goofy around you, teasing you jokingly. He’d act a little more cocky too. Like Jimin, he’d wait for the perfect opportunity to show you the reason why you should date him. He’d eventually realise that maybe he should just be completely himself and not try too hard as he would before, and would drop it all and be relaxed with you. As soon as another member entered the room, he’d find some excuse to touch you, like a arm around the shoulder, brushing fake crumbs off your sleeve. But he’d want you to be happy, all of the members would.
