Right after I posted “kissing spot” I imagined this scene. It made me laugh so I wanted to share, but I wasn’t ready to commit to another full-done comic for a silly follow-up… and then @mythals-whore said it’d be worthy to see it even if it was sketchy, so here we are :)
I have been emotionally blackmailed into doing this by the lovely @phoenixwithapencil, very much would do again if the creative juices are flowing (I still need to work on that Souya fic and other wips-) Also this has been written so fast, it was literally all done in one day the ideas and words just kept flowing holy shit!
Is this top notch? No. Has my writing skills gotten better? I would say so since this isn't written in bullet points and I think this is okay enough formatting especially with dialogue, it's also posted so late cause I didn't have a title for it that I liked for a while
TW: Slight angst I'm pretty sure, GN!Reader, anything else tell me!
Takes place right before they go to ancient Egypt for Yami I'm pretty sure, cause it's based around these panels,
Reader is Gender Neutral, portrayed as a very nice and friendly person and also a Kiaba
Ryou's heart dropped when he heard that he was not going to be allowed to help find Yugi, he really did want to help! Yugi was one of the few people along with the friendship gang that actually wanted to stay friends after the ring caused all those horrible things to happen to them! Yugi was also one of the few people who actually understood to a level what it meant to be a host for a millennium item even if his luck turned out to be better than Ryou's but he was being told
"No Good!!! You must leave here immediately"
Filled with anguish and hate Ryou turned to run and leave the gang on their adventure as he stayed in his lonely apartment and cried to hisself about how worthless he was, but he failed to get the chance to as someone grabbed the back of his jumper in an unusually tight grip,
"Hold on just a second creampuff"
Twisting in confusion Ryou looked to the side for who was holding on to his sweater so tight only to be surprised to see his partner, someone usually with a sweet smile or soft look on their face even in confrontation and irritated, with a scary look on their face glaring at the chubby guy in front of them, showing her Kiaba heritage
"Hey fatty!" the friendship group gasped "Why don't you check my aura or whatever it is you did for Ryou!"
Frowning at the remark you made the chubby man held up the scales which tipped in a way that you didn't fully understand and caused the man's face to quickly change into astonishment looking up at you with wide eyes making you take a step back and pull Ryou more behind you,
"You! You're different, you must go! It is very important that you go!"
Hearing this Ryou sunk down lower, even his lover gets to go but he isn't, how useless is he? Ryou just wanted to run but the tight grip you still had on him didn't allow that to happen
"I hate this, I hate this so much!"
Yami Bakura cackled silently, "This works just fine, I don't need you to go along and with her gone you'll be all mine to-"
"Well that sucks cause I'm not going, sorry guys!" You giggled with your usual cheery smile before glaring just like your brother at the man holding the scales, "My boyfriend isn't going and I don't care how important I'm supposed to be for whatever Yugi's case is, I love them and this crew as they are very dear friends to me but Ryou is on the top of my list and if he can't go neither am I if it's alright with you guys!"
The rest of the crew looked at you and saw how much you really cared about Ryou and smiled, "Don't ya worry Y/N we support you in this!" Joey grinned in his "macho manly" way along with Tristan "Yeah go support your boyfriend!" Yugi grinned at you, "Joey and Tristan are right, Ryou doesn't deserve to be alone, go ahead, we'll figure it all out and come back with the pharaoh!" Tea cheered you on, "You go bestie! You're absolutely the best partner there is out there!"
"Great cause I was still gonna go even if you guys disagreed!" You smiled cheerily at them making the whole group sweat drop.
Turning around and holding Ryou by his hand instead of by his shirt you grinned at him, startling Ryou out of his momentarily shock "C'mon bun boy! Let's go to my place and eat some cream puffs that are just as cute as you!" Finally coming back to himself after staring at your bright figure for a second Ryou straightened up and holding your hand properly while sending you back a smile, "Let's"
You two walked out the door waving at them as Ryou said, "Well I guess that's it then, we'll go to Y/N's, but you guys have to find Yugi and bring him back!" You nodded vigorously "You must! You must!"
The friendship group nodded determined "We will! See you guys when we're back!"
Satisfied you and Ryou walked through the halls with Ryou feeling a bit lighter than just a moment ago, like a heavy presence was leaving him because he was close to you and happy
Yami Bakura floated behind pissed off that he wasn't able to utilize Ryou's negative emotions due to you, "Tch, bastard woman! Doesn't matter I always find a way to get what I want" Yami Bakura cackled as he faded away, "I'll let the poor boy have this time for now, he is constantly tortured by fate and my plans anyways"
You and Ryou walked out to the limo you had waiting outside unaware of the spirit's plan, only focusing on the cuddles and creampuffs you promised, and maybe some more~ Who knows? Only you and Ryou.
Finished Fox in the Screen. It was what I thought would be. Simple, cute, funny, enjoyable. I really liked.

After so much suffering with Ashes of Love and Fox in the Screen, I hope Love is Sweet is so sweet that will make me sick of the sweetness😂
And If I wasn't already in love with him, I would be in love now
I watched the first episode. I love rom com movies, but for some reason never watched a rom com show, this will be the first. And I really liked the first episode. It was fun and funny, they're cute, and business woman is a religion, amen.
